As I've said before on this board, Manchin serves as a tank to take incoming fire for other Democrats who agree with him. Being the bipartisan guy who is willing to stand up to his party help him in WV and it protects others from having to constantly deal with progressive ire.

Bottom line, they love what Manchin is doing AND how he's doing it. Also, Republicans lock-step opposition isn't playing well.

He's basically saying that the voters got tired of Trump and threw the bum out of office and that instead of impeaching him we should just arrest him.

This is the Trump "tax cut" he crowed about over the summer and fall. Most companies opted out of it but it sounds like yours didn't.
