Republicans need to get off the dime and stand up for our country...

...instead of standing up for the traitorous asshole that's stealing America's secrets.

Enough of their bullshit political games. They are standing against America. They are inciting violence against the American people.

This is very serious. They need to understand the gravity of their positions.

Did a witness before the J6 Committee inadvertently mention the "boxes" at MAL...?

Is that how the DOJ came into possession of the information?

It was just a couple of weeks ago that the Committee began to turn over their files to the DOJ?

Or was it a "snitch", a "rat", inside the Trump cabal that turned on him and went to the DOJ?

Who would have known where the boxes were stored at the Trump compound? Most family members probably would have known about them. Perhaps the Secret Service detail assigned to guard the place may have known?

But would any of his advisers, such as Mark Meadows or Cassidy Hutchinson, have known about the classified material stored in his basement?

Have there been any informed opinions about this?

To the politicians and journalists who think "national security" is not a good enough reason...

...to get a search warrant and seize the classified documents back from a person unauthorized to have possession of them, there is something you need to hear.

"Get your heads out of your asses!"

It doesn't matter if the person is the former president of the country. He is now a civilian and he is breaking the law. There is no need to complicate the matter.

Make no mistake. It is a threat to our national security. It cannot be ignored for political reasons for any political Party.

It had to be fixed.

Trump tells on himself.

His first comments after the story broke of the search warrant were "they even broke into my safe" and some off-the-cuff comment about the FBI "planting" evidence.

It's the same old technique he always uses. Start a narrative (lie) that he can build on and can get his supporters to repeat long and often. By the end of the 2nd day since the search was executed, the word "planted" is all over the right-wing media. By the end of the week, most of his supporters will believe that the FBI "planted" evidence in the safe of Donald Trump.

He is a propagandist and a liar extraordinaire. Few people know television as well as he and even fewer know how to sell a message with the creation of a "narrative" (lie).

From his own words, we will discover that the most damaging evidence was found (planted) in his safe. (the one that they broke into)

The minute that the FBI says that "they do not comment on ongoing investigations"...

...it changes the game for the Republicans.

How?

Because if they know there is an "ongoing investigation", they do not know how it is going to turn out.

They do not know if an indictment is coming or when?

Do they want to throw their support behind a candidate who may be soon indicted and tried in a criminal trial? Is that who they want to be the next president?

That is what an "ongoing investigation" means to the Republican Party. I cannot understand how people think this is good news for Trump or the Republicans?

Merrick Garland should request that Joe Biden "re-classify" all the documents from MAL.

As a civilian, Donald Trump would have no claim to any documents taken from the White House. None.

New Presidents usually extend security clearance to previous presidents. Joe Biden did not do that with Trump.

Re-classifying the documents would serve a couple of purposes. If new documents were discovered in the possession of Donald Trump, he would automatically be in possession of "classified" documents. That would be against the law.

Also, it would remove any legal argument Trump might try to make if he took it to court to try and maintain possession.

However, it is worth noting that once Trump left the White House, with no security clearance, he was in violation of the law by having any classified documents in his possession. He was in violation of the law from January 20th, 2021.

Why should Trump be treated differently from any other criminal?

That had broken the same laws?

People would have been asking for the death penalty. Especially if it was a Democrat.

Espionage. Treason. Conspiracy against the United States. And many more crimes of less stature.

Why would he be treated differently?

Because he is rich? Because he is a popular politician?

Because he is too smart to be charged by the American justice system?

The cognitive dissonance in an unreal world.

How can it be happening?

Their world, built on lies, is crumbling all around them.

How could the FBI raid the home of Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago?

How could they find twelve more boxes of documents? How could some of them be classified as related to "National Security"?

Did they really go into his "safe"? What did they find?

Have they really found evidence on Donald Trump?

What do we do with all the lies we stored away in order to protect him and ourselves, so that we could maintain power?

Would Merrick Garland actually indict him?

How do we deal with reality?

The hypocrisy of transparency demands...

...from people like Kevin McCarthy and Mike Pence.

It would really help if they were more transparent and came out and told the American people what they know.

Instead, they criticize Merrick Garland for not being "transparent" and giving the people more information about the search warrant on Mar-a-Lago.

Why do they need transparency from the FBI for seizing 12 boxes of documents from Donald Trump's home, that he was not supposed to have? And some may have been related to "national security"? Aren't they asking the wrong people for "transparency"?

The recurring nightmare of Mitch McConnell.

He awakens in the middle of the night to a crackling voice - a wavy-haired, bespectacled image in front of him.

He haunts him every night.

He could have been on the Supreme Court if Mitch McConnell had not held up his appointment until a Republican was in the White House. He got his wish with Donald Trump. It was his life's dream - to stack the Supreme Court in his favor.

But now, this same image is now the Attorney General of the United States and he is making life miserable for Republicans, especially the former President of the United States.

Oh, if he had just let him go to the Supreme Court!

Maybe he would not have these nightmares?
