The criminal class, and those supportive of them, cannot be permitted to define the laws...

..of this country.

They may see nothing wrong with attacking the Capitol of this country and threatening the lives of everyone there?

They may see nothing wrong with attempting a coup of our government?

They may see nothing wrong with lying to steal an election?

They may see nothing wrong with extorting state officials to change the official votes of its citizens?

They may see nothing wrong with stealing the secrets of this country and committing espionage against their own country?

But there are laws on the book and they do not get to change those laws to fit their political agenda or to please their Leader and Master.

If they want to riot in the streets to defend such lawlessness, then let them.

The people must be ready to stand up and defend our Constitution and the laws of this country. They should not be bullied, threatened, or intimidated into surrendering to these criminals and their accomplices.

The quiet campaign to not hold "the former president" accountable.

Bill Barr may have been the first to say the evidence was there but he didn't think the former president should be indicted. To top it off, he said it on FOXNews.

Since then, we have heard the whispers and the rare mention on cable news that it might not be good for the country if the former president is indicted. It would divide the country even further, they say.

It's almost as if Americans have become divorced from common sense? If there is one person in this country that should take care that the laws are faithfully executed, it is the President of the United States.

It has become nothing more than a political exercise. Bill Clinton was impeached for lying about his relationships with Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones and obstruction of justice because of his sexual affairs. He was impeached for them. The Republicans would have indicted and convicted him if they had been able.

But common sense needs to dictate how Presidents and former presidents are treated by the law. If a President is accused of a minor crime while in office, such as over-looking thousands of dollars in taxes or an illicit sexual affair, that should not call for an indictment.

However, if a President brazenly attempts to overthrow the government and steals the most sensitive documents in our Intelligence, then that is a different matter. The American people can distinguish between the two. The US Congress should be able to tell the difference?

Common sense should guide us on whether or not a President or former president should be indicted for criminal acts. The acts of Bill Clinton were not equal to the acts of Donald Trump. He should be indicted and convicted.

The debate should not be about whether or not to indict but whether or not to call for life in prison or the death penalty.

What happens if the MAL documents case is appealed to the Supreme Court?

If the Appeals Court rules in Trump's favor, not impossible I suppose, would the Supreme Court let the lower court decision stand?

Or would they make a ruling?

This would be one escape route they could take so that a former president would not have to be prosecuted, if they were so inclined.

I cannot see this case not going to the Supreme Court.

Why the country needs FOX News at this time?

Because they are the primary reason the nation is so divided?

Recently they have had Bill Barr and a few others on their network, telling their viewers the truth about the classified documents. It was illegal to remove them from the White House. The DOJ probably has enough evidence to indict Donald Trump. But, Bill Barr would not want to see him indicted.

The message that sends to the Trump cult is that "Trump is guilty but we do not want to see him held accountable". That is the message the FOX viewers and the Trump cult have to process.

But, sadly, there is no one else that can deliver that message to them.

Hopefully, enough of them will receive the message, if Trump is indicted, that no one is above the law. Brazenly flaunt and break the laws and you will be held accountable.

FOXNews divided America and now they have a chance to help unite America. They need to understand there is a higher duty than just being a propagandist for a two-bit con-artist.

The Republican Judges nominated by DOJ for Special Master will not be good enough for Trump.

Unless they are "his" judges.

He has to know he can manipulate them or, at the very least, influence them.

If Judge Cannon chooses one of Trump's picks over the DOJ's, we will know the fix is in.

By the end of the week, we will know if the DOJ is going to appeal to the Eleventh Circuit.

Let the games begin.

The Trump crime investigations could damage Republicans hopes in November.

In my opinion, there is no way this cannot hurt Republicans in the next election. People understand that it is about more than a "storage" problem. Marco Rubio may pay a price for that one?

Most Republicans are withholding comments about the charges against Trump. They know he is capable of espionage. They don't wish to wade too deeply in that quicksand.

This could possibly have such a dramatic impact on the next election that the Democrats could keep both the House and Senate and could increase their numbers in both, if more damning evidence comes out against Trump.

But Republicans are deserving of everything they get. Mitch McConnell had more than one chance to fix their "Trump problem" but he was too obsessed about being the Majority Leader again and he let Trump off the hook at least twice. Knowing all they did about Trump, people like Kevin McCarthy, continued their unbounded support for the criminal. They knew he was a criminal but they thought he would help them politically.

It is very possible that they will pay a huge price for their unquestioned loyalty and their greed for power.

A few questions about the "appeal"?

Was it a straight out appeal to the 11th Circuit? Or was it an "appeal" to the Judge to issue a partial stay on the classified documents part of her decision?

They stated that if they did not receive a satisfactory ruling on that matter, they were going to "appeal" it to the 11th Circuit? Did they mean they were going to appeal the part about the classified documents or the full case?

Did they rule out the Special Master if they get the Judge to approve a stay on that part of her decision? Or do they "appeal" to the 11th Circuit regardless of what the Judge rules?

Can someone clarify that?

Does it seem like the Cable Networks have cut back on the Trump news today?

I wonder why?

Do they want to show people that they are not piling on? Are they anticipating some breaking news that they do not want to interfere with? Do they want to be perceived as not part of the story?

Maybe it is just my perception?

But they seem to be more focused on other stories today.

When it comes, it will be a bombshell!
