The Republican Judges nominated by DOJ for Special Master will not be good enough for Trump.

Unless they are "his" judges.

He has to know he can manipulate them or, at the very least, influence them.

If Judge Cannon chooses one of Trump's picks over the DOJ's, we will know the fix is in.

By the end of the week, we will know if the DOJ is going to appeal to the Eleventh Circuit.

Let the games begin.

As they must.

They will never allow anyone other than President Joe Biden and a few of his high-level Cabinet members to "see" them (as they must).

If the Fascist-Society stooge does not agree with their appeal for a stay and the DoJ allowing the SM (whoever) to only view the trash they already sorted out (for only "client-attorney privileges" identification purposes), their appeal to the 11th Circuit is a done deal if she keeps putting the National Security of the United States at risk.

There is no such thing as "Executive Privilege" for the classified documents because they already belong to the Executive Branch.

Absent the Fascist-Society positive response concerning the requested stay for the FBI & IC to resume the investigation (the IC cannot "assess" the damages to the National Security without the FBI's investigation tools that it needs to do so), the DoJ will go over her head.

If she rules that the agreed-to SM must "view" the classified documents as well as the "trash" the DoJ will also go over her stupidly dangerous head.

My guess is that she will rule that the SM will have to review all of the documents, including those classified?

Running amok, until the 11th-Circuit appeals court will rule (either to allow the IC working WITH the FBI to assess damages and not let the SM "see" the classified documents, or to hold her very dangerously ignorant-of-how-the-IC-and-the-FBI-work-together-since-some-time-after-9/11, which would extend the perils until the USSC final ruling, if any).

RepubliQons don't care about the NS of the US, nor about the Rule of Law (until they comply to the DoJ's requests).

..he obviously does not care about national security. If she agrees with him, then she is not overly concerned about national security either.

The Appeals Court should rule that the Trump team has no standing in this case and has no right to any of the documents and dismiss it outright. Trump's wish is to delay and get it to the Supreme Court. Then he will have someone to blame. And that is important to him, even if he is guilty.

Justice matters.

And let them do their job. Many classified documents remain missing. Until the day the DoJ (and thus, the IC, which is now a division of the FBI - since some time after 9/11 - a fact Aileen QAnnon ignores...) will know what happened to these files, the National Security of the United States of America will remain in peril.

Allies have already started to discuss if it's time for them to stop sharing intel for as long as the orange menace will not be locked up in isolation for life.

I think you are correct.

Once the classified documents are out of the equation, they can then make an appeal to the Appeals court that the documents do not belong to Donald Trump and he has no claim to any executive privilege.

It will be much simplified once the classified documents are protected.

But Trump has used the justice system to his advantage his entire life. It is maybe the one area he excels in. He wants to get it to the Supreme Court so he can look "his" Justices in the eye and dare them to vote against him.
