Merrick Garland Has A Record To Judge Him On.

Donald trump has to give a deposition tomorrow in the E. Jeanne Carroll defamation law suit.

Bill Barr was AG when Carroll filed the suit and Barr immediately had DOJ represent Trump (the office of the president) in the case, arguing that Trump defaming Carroll was an official duty of the president.

Fast forward, Merrick Garland takes over as AG, he did not have to agree with Barr and have DOJ take Trump's place, but he did.

Carroll appealed and an Appeals Court judge agreed with Carroll, Trump defaming Carroll was not an official duty of the president.

So tomorrow, because of this judge's ruling, Trump must show up for his deposition. (barring another appeal)

A Big Cause Of Inflation Is The Price Of Gasoline

The US exports 1.8 million barrels/day of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, and other refined products.

Why?

Magats have 3 election talking points and one of them is inflation, and they stick to hammering those 3.

Can president Biden do something to temporarily stop the export of fossil fuels? Can Congress?

Can Democrats at least combat the argument of high gas prices to our exporting of crude, gasoline, and diesel?

Why not use this as a rebuttal to high gas prices?

Christopher Wray Needs To be Fired

I did my headline to get your attention. Christopher Wray needs to come before Congress and answer some questions about why he lied to a Senate committee. My opinion that he lied. We have several FBI agents who have been suspended because of showing allegiance to Trump. One in Florida, refused to go on a SWAT raid to arrest a 1/6 insurrectionist. Frank Figliusi said that in all his years at the FBI no one ever deserted his team.

I have copied the first part of Nicolle's segment yesterday, there is more. The FBI is infested with Magats and we need to determine if the biggest Magat sits at the top of the Bureau. Christopher Wray had his FBI agents swarm all over the BLM protest and arrest people on the spot. I hope the IG is investigating the FBI, but I doubt it. I hope that Merrick Garland and Lisa Monaco are looking into this, but I doubt it. If the Magats gain control of Congress maybe they will hold public hearings to find out why the FBI didn't act on 1/6?

Please Listen To This 1961 Ronald Reagan Speech Warning Of The Horrors Of Socialist Medicare.

Why is it important to listen to a speech given in 1961? The same tactics are being used today. Many people will vote against Democrats in the 2022 election just because Magats are calling them Socialists.

Trying to abolish Medicare and Social Security is nothing new for the Republican party, now the Magat party.

Take 10 minutes to listen to Reagan's speech, and this is before he ever ran for any office, and yet later on our country elected him president.

DOJ Does Not Leak

I never ever said that DOJ leaked.

Just for everyone's information, Mark Short, Mike Pence's top aid, testified yesterday before a grand jury looking into Jan. 6.

I guarantee that DOJ did not leak that, but we found out, didn't we. Short tried to claim executive privilege or whatever but a judge was having none of it.

This could turn out to be a big deal, we shall see. Something else for Trump to think about, another duck gets in line.

Here are the goodies.

Government Officials Who Need Scrutinized re: 1/6

If I come out and say someone needs to be fired I will get a backlash here.

I believe that there are several people who need to explain what they did or didn't do re: the 1/6 insurrection.

Joseph Cuffari, IG of DHS.
Tony Ornato, Trump's SS guy.
Bobby Engel the head SS guy.

Last but not least, Christopher Wray, FBI Director.

Frank Figliusi said today that with the information that Secret Service and the FBI had, the event, the rally, should have been shut down.

Compare the law enforcement presence at a BLM peaceful protest with law enforcement presence at the 1/6 rally/insurrection.

Something is wrong and those 4 people need to explain some things.

I guess that Ornato has retired, that doesn't let him off the hook.

The Fed's Rate Hikes

I am a financial idiot, I let my daughter pick my investments, but am I wrong in seeing this;

The Fed wants to create a recession to cure inflation. Isn't that like blood letting to cure a patient?

A recession will last throughout President Biden's term and make it hard for Dems to win in 2024.

All the other explanations I hear about rate hikes are BS. Central banks want a recession.

Anyone Else Think The Feds Plan To Keep Raising Interest Rates Is Wrong?

I am a financial Troglodyte, but I can read. A heck of a lot of economists are claiming that the Fed has it wrong, that it is basing inflation on lagging indicators.

I also read a scary article about how central banks would like to see a recession and want the Fed to keep increasing rates.

Aren't these hikes killing our 401k's? Won't these hikes lead to unemployment?

Didn't the Fed keep interest at zero during Trump's reign?

Then I listen to Elizabeth Warren bashing these hikes.

Talk me down from this ledge.

Merrick Garland Has Tough Decisions

He must consider the Magat Supreme Court, here is one example;

Over a year ago the J6 committee subpoenaed Mark Meadows and he provided a lot of documents but when Trump found out Meadows stopped cooperating, claiming executive privilege. The J6 committee sent a criminal referral to DOJ for Meadows and Bannon. DOJ dismissed the Meadow's referral but indicted Bannon, because DOJ would have had to fight against executive privilege which would have gone to the Magat SC. Last month DOJ subpoenaed Meadows but just for the documents he already provided to the J6 committee, once again DOJ did not want to take on executive privilege, the sanctity between a president and his Chief of Staff.

Meadows is the key player in indicting Trump, he was the middle man between Trump and the Willard hotel.
Meadows was the key man in the theft of classified documents, he supervised it.

To nail Trump for seditious conspiracy or espionage or theft of documents Garland will have to challenge executive privilege with a fascist SC.

Seriously, Garland may not need Meadow's testimony to indict Trump for obstruction of justice re: the theft of classified documents which carries a 20 year maximum sentence.

Maybe that is the best option for Garland, challenging executive privilege, even though it is being claimed to hide criminal activity may not be waived by the SC we now have and would take a very long time to resolve.

Anyone Watch Laurence O'Donnell Just Now?

Same discussion that Nicolle Wallace had about indicting Trump over the stolen classified documents and his obstruction of justice.

Andrew Weissmann was a guest of Laurence, just as he was for Nicolle.

Weissmann was a lot more brutal tonight. I have been saying for a year now that indicting Trump has nothing to do with ducks, or with evidence, it has to do with indicting a former president.

Weissmann put it a lot more forcefully, he said indicting Trump has nothing to do with evidence, it has to with DOJ having the backbone to indict Trump.

They talked about Trump rubbing it in Garland's face at his rallies, claiming the documents are his and the FBI planted them, which makes zero sense.
