DOJ Does Not Leak

I never ever said that DOJ leaked.

Just for everyone's information, Mark Short, Mike Pence's top aid, testified yesterday before a grand jury looking into Jan. 6.

I guarantee that DOJ did not leak that, but we found out, didn't we. Short tried to claim executive privilege or whatever but a judge was having none of it.

This could turn out to be a big deal, we shall see. Something else for Trump to think about, another duck gets in line.

Here are the goodies.

1. FWIW My understanding is Short wanted to testify, but Trump tried and failed to block it.

Judge saw through Trump’s bullshit.

You are absolutely right, DOJ doesn’t leak.

For what it is worth, I believe witnesses are free to speak about their testimony afterwards.

DU lawyers can correct me if I am wrong. Which happens sometimes

Trump wants Russia documents but could not find any.

Trump wants nuclear documents and that the US Government doesn’t own them.

Trump wants to testify but takes the Fifth Amendment.

Short willingly testified to the J6 committee, and now to the Grand Jury.

Good News.

Not sure if this could be considered a “leak”, because:

1)The court’s rulings on privilege are public records, and
2) Short was observed by reporters entering and leaving the building where the GJ meets.

that is how they know when someone is coming and going from testifying. When they saw Short, they also saw Kash Patel. The leaks usually come from someone close to the person testifying not the DOJ.
