MARCH FOR OUR LIVES Sat the 24th 817+ cities

will be hosting marches/rallies. Only 75 were organized at this time a few days after the FL High School shootings one month ago. This will likely surpass the Women's March in numbers. This is a WORLD WIDE event now and it started with determined young people that had #ENOUGH! They are RESISTING!

Two weeks ago I learned that the 500,000 people planning to attend the March in DC at the Mall wouldn't be allowed to as they had planned since they didn't get their permit in before another event that was already scheduled had made arrangements for that place and date. I just saw on MSNBC (Lawrence) that the Cherry Blossom Festival was kind enough to move their event to Sunday, March 25th so the anti-gun violence protesters will be able to have their March For Our Lives after all. Facebook Must Notify Users Who Had Data Stolen By Cambridge Analytica

Facebook has revealed that in 2015 a University of Cambridge researcher, Aleksandr Kogan, passed user data to third parties, including SCL Group/Cambridge Analytica and Christopher Wylie of Eunoia Technologies, in violation of the company's platform policies. Cambridge Analytica, Kogan and Eunoia certified to Facebook that they destroyed the data, but they did not. Three years later, the public is only now being made aware of this breach.

Cambridge Analyica was a contractor to President Donald Trump's 2016 election campaign. Indeed, its CEO, Alexander Nix, made efforts to contact Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to help distribute hacked DNC emails to help Donald Trump get elected. Because of the sensitive nature of these parties, and because it should be liable to its users for such breaches, Facebook has a duty to inform all users affected by this breach.

Vaping, vapers and oil.....

I am considering purchasing one but only have tried it once so I know nothing at all about it except that it knocked me on my ass. I met a guy training his pet turtle how to walk on a leach at my favorite dog park and he offered me a hit. I have only smoked indica daily with top shelf weed so I don't know ANYTHING about buying one, using one and the oil as well as prices and brands. I am on a budget and want the most bang for my buck (I only smoke at home to be able to sleep). Any advice or suggestions?

Today my 84 year old very Dem dad told me that if he were younger

he would leave the US and move to New Zealand. I told him that I have read several posts on DU recently from people who have kids who are in their 20s and they are planning on leaving the country now due to the situation that our country is in and how it will most likely take 20 years (if ever) to undo what the GOP and the Moron has done to the country. The divisions and wounds may never heal and the country may never have the status that we did. Since Reagun the politics and corruption have made this country not as great as it once was and leaving is a serious option that many are considering and even planning to do now.

What we saw today inspired us.
On Valentine’s Day, we hid in classrooms, in closets, while 17 of our fellow Eagles were brutally murdered, and 17 more were injured. Today, for 17 minutes, countless students across the country left their classrooms to remember those we lost, 17 minutes for those still healing injuries, and 17 minutes of solidarity with those of us still shattered by what happened.
When we stood up and demanded change we could not imagine this level of support – and for that we are eternally thankful. Communities across this country walked out of classrooms to send one message – Enough.
That is why 10 days from today we’re going to march and demand change.

We’re going to go to our nation’s Capital, town squares, city centers, rural roads, and village parks to demand our lives be defended.
We’re going to ask every “leader” what they’re doing to protect us. We are not just talking about voting – we are talking about saving lives.
