It is my understanding in Texas you CANT be forced to have sprinklers in a building

or to have to comply with any type of government regulated fire prevention?

Is this true, anybody in Texas?

If so, when the inevitable damage occurs that would NOT have had they had the proper regulations, surely they wont ask US to pay for it?

SF Examiner, owned by rightwingers still?

http://www.sfexaminer.com/berkeley-protesters-met-heavy-police-presence-10-arrested-amid-violent-clashes/

Sure seems like it, I wonder if this part of the article is true:

A large group of protesters wearing black chased another man from the park and surrounded him. The protesters attacked the man, knocked him to the ground and tore his shirt, prompting police to rush the crowd and escort the man away. Officers then dragged the man down the street beyond a nearby police line.

The attackers in this "allegation" were ANTIFA, as in not Nazis, anti Nazis.

I wonder if that is true, at all, and the rest of the article reads like Trump wrote it.

Top Trump Organization executive asked Putin aide for help on business deal

Source: Washington Post

A top executive from Donald Trump’s real estate company emailed Vladimir Putin’s personal spokesman during the U.S. presidential campaign last year to ask for help advancing a stalled Trump Tower development project in Moscow, according to documents submitted to Congress Monday.

Michael Cohen, a Trump attorney and executive vice president for the Trump Organization, sent the email in January 2016 to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s top press aide.

“Over the past few months I have been working with a company based in Russia regarding the development of a Trump Tower - Moscow project in Moscow City,” Cohen wrote Peskov, according to a person familiar with the email. “Without getting into lengthy specifics. the communication between our two sides has stalled.”

Real Time/HBO guest Matt Welch from Reason.com misrepresents

the impact climate change has on hurricanes.

He said it had no effect, I am pretty sure that is what he said. Nobody fact checked him in real time, so to speak.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/25/us/hurricane-harvey-climate-change-texas.html?mcubz=3

Cant copy paste, but scientists are not saying hurricanes are specifically and directly changed by climate change, because that data is not in yet, but the effect of hurricanes certainly is, the damage, the rain, etc.

This is the kind of intentional misrepresentation you hear on fox news all the time, where you get half the story.

I dont see anybody else anywhere calling this out, maybe it is out there. But his brief comment, which is very misleading, is the kind of thing that does tremendous damage to that thing we call "the truth."

Who is getting Iphone 8 as soon as it comes out?

I may have to, long story about my phone, as in if I have to get a new one might as well get the newest.

I hear it is coming 9-12, not sure though.

I also read they were struggling with touch-ID as the new phone screen is different, not sure about that either.

Really like the idea of not having to plug it in to charge, if that happens, that is.

When will two murder charges, or manslaughter, for the Helicopter police be charged

against the nazis or the driver?

They were responding to a situation created by a crime in progress, these type of charges in this situation have been done before, so when?

Watching Al Gore on Chris Hayes

Waits for Chris to finish his question, hears each word of each question, responds brilliantly and directly to the questions, honestly and intelligently.

sigh

One stolen election kept him from his rightful seat for 8 yrs, another stolen election reminds us the Democratic Party are the adults, are vastly superior to all republicans in every area.

Tangled web connects Russian oligarch money to GOP campaigns

Source: Dallas Morning News

Donald Trump and the political action committees for Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and John McCain accepted $7.35 million in contributions from a Ukrainian-born oligarch who is the business partner of two of Russian president Vladimir Putin's favorite oligarchs and a Russian government bank.

During the 2015-2016 election season, Ukrainian-born billionaire Leonid "Len" Blavatnik contributed $6.35 million to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators. Mitch McConnell was the top recipient of Blavatnik's donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik's holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and OpenSecrets.org.
