SF Examiner, owned by rightwingers still?

http://www.sfexaminer.com/berkeley-protesters-met-heavy-police-presence-10-arrested-amid-violent-clashes/

Sure seems like it, I wonder if this part of the article is true:

A large group of protesters wearing black chased another man from the park and surrounded him. The protesters attacked the man, knocked him to the ground and tore his shirt, prompting police to rush the crowd and escort the man away. Officers then dragged the man down the street beyond a nearby police line.

The attackers in this "allegation" were ANTIFA, as in not Nazis, anti Nazis.

I wonder if that is true, at all, and the rest of the article reads like Trump wrote it.

1. Naturally there is no explaination as to why THAT guy .. a well known far right provocateaur

was in that crowd of people, that will eventually come out on page 15 or not.

This mainstream feign of outrage is such bullshit, probably half the bodies at these protests are "journalists" just itching for some bad shit to happen so that they can get some juicy content.

2. Examiner is owned by Hearst, I think.

That article is written with a FAR right slant.

It was presented to me by someone who says there is bad and good on both sides, I nearly lost it.

3. That's the narrative that these nazi bastards want you to hear and fear, that they are the

the victims of an enormous Soros backed conspiracy to take over the country by ultra violent means. It's all complete bullshit.

4. THe responses in comments were either attacking ANTIFA or people who claim

to be liberals bemoaning their behavour.

I dont believe the article, I dont believe that is exactly what happened in the first place.

But if it is, then learn the lesson, ANY action by anti nazis is bad, no matter what.

6. That seems to be true. Actually from what I've seen first hand "the liberals"

aren't involved in any of these protests to any extent or through any organized groups. They are organized by the Democratic Socialists of America chapters (DSA).

I have to laugh at the outrage and tongue clicking these armchair critics engage in when they have absolutely no skin in the game. They would just as soon sing kumbaya as those fuckers build momentum and have god damn torch rallies in every city in the country unopposed.

8. Oh it's ok to protest, behind barricades and lines of military clad police with assault rifles

protecting the nazis. This is the way it's evolving. It's the way it was in Laguna Beach 2 weeks ago. In Berkeley the cops were confused because there really wasn't a nazi rally to protect, to encircle. The nazis were mingling with the protesters and stirring up shit hoping to start fights.

5. The Hearst Corp owns the Chronicle these days, the only SF newspaper of record

The Examiner, founded by William Randolph Hearst, has been a lot of things lately, but it is no longer a newspaper.

In 2000, the Hearst Corp. pulled another "switcheroo" by selling its flagship and "Monarch of the Dailies", the afternoon San Francisco Examiner, and acquiring the long-time competing but now larger morning paper, the San Francisco Chronicle from the Charles de Young family. The San Francisco Examiner is now published as a daily freesheet
