WARNING: Trump's Mid Terms - TAX Break - is a trick set up Don the Con's sleeve

We're being set up by the very slick prick - Donald the Great (Asshole) - about his special "Tax Break" that Trump is Tweeting will happen before the November Mid-Terms.

Thing is - a huge Tax Break - is already there!

Granted, it is more subjective, than objective; depending on the particular taxpayer's circumstances.

Trump has set a very slick trap, and some media outlets already taking the bait; because a significant tax benefit is already in the Tax Code, as of 2018.

Politvidchannel is asking
................................ Why does Trump LIE LIKE THIS.

But, that's a trap, based on Trump's bait & switch.

If you will PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Tricky Pricky Trump exact words are

"We are looking at putting in a very major tax cut for middle income people. And, if we do that, it will be sometime just prior to November"

At issue here, are what particular aspects of the 2018 Tax Code changes one is looking at.

Trump is going to win points, when media outlets call him a liar; because the facts are Trump will show individual gains to dazel voters with this type of comparison that the "Standard Deduction" in 2017 was

And this is the new "Standard Deduction" in 2018

Trump wins the moments he points out - bright line facts That the Standard Deduction has a huge increase for lower and middle classes (remember who his voting base is).

The standard deduction for single taxpayers and married couples filing separately is $6,350 in 2017, up from $6,300 in 2016; for married couples filing jointly, the standard deduction is $12,700, up $100 from the prior year; and for heads of households, the standard deduction is $9,350 for 2017, up from $9,300.

As reported by Forbes, in March 2018,

Standard Deduction Amounts. The standard deduction amounts will increase to $12,000 for individuals, $18,000 for heads of household, and $24,000 for married couples filing jointly and surviving spouses.

IRS Announces 2018 Tax Rates, Standard Deductions, Exemption Amounts And More

Here are the previous 2017 Tax Tables

IMO - we should steer clear of biting into this trap.

No regular taxpayer is going to care about the fact there's a "Sunset" provision to fade this all away, in 7 years (after the Donald's sunset); and there are 25 million low income people who will benefit from a larger "Standard" Deduction.

My posting to David Sirota, as he sits in limbo on new gigs

Mr. Sirota took a hiatus, as IBT collapsed and his wife ran for office. Though David and I had an email rift, I'm still supporting him and his wife.

Recently, Mr. Sirota has become candid about the fact that journalists have a huge uphill battle, trying to speak truth to power.

It's a matter of money.

The bad guys steal and use it as a war chest to stymie.

Be that as it may, Mr. Sirota's circumstances has left a void that needs filling; and he blocked me on Twitter; but follows me on LinkedIn.

So, I sent him this... Because, IMO, had he done the story, in 2016, as we were beginning to discuss - Toys R Us might still be here - today.

Just sayin....

Is David Sirota our journo hero or not?

For a decade plus, I've been blowing the whistle on Wall Street frauds; which includes Goldman Sachs partnership with Bain Capital ripping off Mattel, Fingerhut and my eToys company for $5 billion plus.

Mr. David Sirota asked for the details when IBT was collapsing; and, then, he abruptly told me that I was "haranguing" him (said he had personal problems).

I hate playing - one up - but I went from CEO and 1000 employees to sleeping in my car, daughter kidnapped, haven't seen nor help my grandkids since the abduction in 2004; and my fellow warriors dying.

All he had to say was - things are chaotic and my company is closing - I'll talk to you once I land the next gig.

Even with David blocking me, I still support him; and got others to contribute to him and his wife's campaign.

That being said, it irks me, greatly, when David talks about his trying to do major Wall Street stories; and the story that could have saved Toys R Us - is sitting right here.

It's not about me, I'm already living it.

The question is, about you Mr. Sirota. You could be a hero; and possibly a P Prize winner.

What say you??????

Justice Dept. Rank-and-File Tell of Discontent Over Sessions's Approach

Source: NYT

During his 20 months in office, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has swept in perhaps the most dramatic political shift in memory at the Justice Department, from the civil rights-centered agenda of the Obama era to one that favors his hard-line conservative views on immigration, civil rights and social issues.

Now, discontent and infighting have taken hold at the Justice Department, in part because Mr. Sessions was so determined to carry out that transformation that he ignored dissent, at times putting the Trump administration on track to lose in court and prompting high-level departures, according to interviews over several months with two dozen current and former career department lawyers who worked under Mr. Sessions. Most asked not to be named for fear of retribution.

President Trump has exacerbated the dynamic, they said, by repeatedly attacking Mr. Sessions and the Justice Department in baldly political and personal terms. And he has castigated rank-and-file employees, which career lawyers said further chilled dissent and debate within the department.

The people interviewed — many yearslong department veterans, and a third of whom worked under both the Bush and Obama administrations — said that their concerns extended beyond any political differences they might have had with Mr. Sessions, who is widely expected to leave his post after November’s midterm elections.

Sessions leaving - is a good thing.

I'm not the only victim with gripes against Goldman Sachs

Sachs cooked the books with my public company; and rigged the federal investigation by arranging for their lawyer (Colm Connolly of MNAT) to become THE US Attorney over Goldman Sachs/ Bain Capital cases.

Now Colm Connolly is a Judge.

Donald Trump originally expounded Goldman Sachs was screwed, with its investment in Puerto Rico bonds.

That’s President Donald Trump on Puerto Rico’s financial situation.

Oh… that’s all we have to do?

Just make $73 billion go away overnight?

Trump is basically taking debt forgiveness to a whole new level, and it’s clear that he doesn’t have any understanding of who actually holds this debt on their balance sheet.

"I don't know if it's Goldman Sachs, but whoever it is, you can wave goodbye to that," Trump said yesterday. "The debt was massive on the island."

And, Goldman Sachs is accused of cooking the books in the Greek tragedy.

But Goldman Sachs/ Bain Capital are part of the Puerto Rico bond debacle; and Romney's running mate - Ryan -bailed out Bain Capital in Puerto Rico.

Our federal government has no problem with aiding & abetting Wall Street racketeering.

And that SUCKS!

A great analogy of how Trump & pumpkins are similar

BUSTED: New footage disproves white woman's claim that a black child 'sexually assaulted' her

Source: Raw Story

Security camera footage has disproven the claims of a white woman nicknamed “Cornerstore Caroline” who called the police on a 9-year-old black boy for “sexual assault.”

Andrew Ramos, a reporter with New York’s Pix11 news station, tweeted the surveillance video clip that shows the woman leaning over a store counter as the boy, identifiable by his bright green school uniform shirt, walks behind her.

The woman identified as Theresa claimed the 9-year-old boy “grabbed my ass,” but the footage shows him merely brushing against her — corroborating the claims of eyewitnesses inside the store who said the boy did not “assault” the woman.

“Video completely vindicates the child,” Ramos noted. “Deli owner told me the woman has a history of being ‘unwell.’

Grand Jury Indicts Four White Supremacists Connected to Charlottesville Protest

Source: The HILL Reporter

A federal grand jury indicted four members of a white supremacist group today in connection with their participation in the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia last year.

The indictments follow the Oct. 2 arrests of Benjamin Drake Daley, Thomas Walter Gillen, Michael Paul Miselis and Cole Evan White, all of California, and the announcement Wednesday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia’s of the charges they face.

Each defendant is charged with one count of conspiracy to violate the federal Riots Act and one count of traveling in interstate commerce from California to Virginia with the intent to incite a riot, organize, promote, encourage, participate in, and carry on in a riot, to commit an act of violence in furtherance of a riot, or aid or abet any person inciting and participating in or carrying on in a riot, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorneys office.

The indicted are part of a larger white supremacist group out of Southern California known as the Rise Above Movement (RAM), a group that is no stranger to violence. According to ProPublica, RAM touts their single purpose is ‘physically attacking its ideological foes.’

Africa's youngest billionaire kidnapped by gunmen from luxury hotel

Source: CNN

Gunmen have kidnapped an African billionaire from a luxury hotel in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, police told CNN.

Mohammed Dewji, 43, was taken by the men who waylaid him as he left the hotel gym after his early morning workout at around 6.30 am local time, police said.

The abductors, who are believed to be foreign nationals, accessed the gym through gates that are believed to have been left open deliberately, Dar es Salaam regional police commissioner Lazaro Mambosaso told CNN.

Reports about Dewji being found are false -- police have been deployed to discover his whereabouts, according to Mambosaso.

NY Officer complains his promotion blocked due to Kaepernick support

Black Police Officer Claims NYPD Is Blocking His Promotion to Lieutenant Because He Publicly Supported Kaepernick

As reported by AFRO

Black police officer is claiming his public support for Colin Kaepernick has caused the New York Police Department to block him from receiving a promotion, according to reports.

Per the New York Daily, NYPD Sergeant Edwin Raymond, a 33-year-old African American, told reporters that he was passed over for a promotion to lieutenant because he publicly backed Kaepernick, who sparked a trend of NFL players kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem in protest of police brutality and racism in the U.S.

Raymond, reportedly, expected to be bumped to lieutenant after he produced one of the highest scores of all applicants on the lieutenant’s test; according to The New York Daily News , he had the 26th best score out of 1,325 other sergeants that took the same test.

But Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, told the media that this is just a case of retaliation against Raymond.

“Decisions are made on the sly, and there are people who have pending charges and still get promoted, and others whose promotions are held back for reasons that are never explained,” Mullins said. “If this doesn’t appear to be retaliation, then I don’t know what is.”
