Sketch of a stream after it rained near my house

This was an exploration in pen and ink trying to capture moving water in a lovely creek in a protected wilderness area within walking distance of my home. Usually it was a trickle but on that day it was full and flowing much faster, creating bubbles as it rushed over and down the rocks.

It looks like the subject posted most today is about ballet

Here is a large painting I did of a ballerina. My ex was a stagehand in the San Francisco Opera House so I knew a few of the women in the San Francisco Ballet who danced there during the ballet season. I sometimes would watch them rehearse, which inspired this painting. It’s 60” x 36”
