Selzer pollster predicted Romney would beat Santorum by 9% in Iowa (2012)
Santorum won by 0.1%.
That's for those who liken Selzer with God. They not always nail it. The praise for this pollster is nauseating.

The curse of Peggy Noonan falls upon Bernie Sanders
In 2012 Noonan predicted Romney would beat Obama.
"Slate, who said, in a conversation the night before the last presidential debate, that he thought maybe the American people were quietly cooking something up, something we dont know about.
I think they are and I think its this: a Romney win."

By the way, why do so many right wings nuts write puff pieces about Sanders?
Clinton: Sanders' health care plan 'will never, ever come to pass'
Source: CNN
Hillary Clinton on Friday cast Bernie Sanders plan for single-payer health insurance as an idea that will never, ever come to pass.
The swipe builds on Clintons repeated rhetoric against the Vermont senators proposed single-payer, Medicare-for-all health care plan that he proposed earlier this month. The plan would provide health coverage to all Americans but would be paid for by raising taxes on most Americans.
Clinton has sought to cast Sanders plan as going backwards by repealing Obamacare President Barack Obamas signature legislative achievement in order to pass single-payer.
To prove her point on Friday, Clinton asked Joan Hanna, a woman she met backstage here before a campaign event, to talk about how her daughters brain cancer and coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

Nate Silver: the press corps "spins even minor stories into crises for Clinton"
In explaining what would happen if Bernie Sanders wins both IA and NH, Nate Silver states:
"But Sanders would have an avalanche of momentum going for him after wins in Iowa and New Hampshire. The national press corps, which spins even minor stories into crises for Clinton, would portray Clintons campaign as being in a meltdown. Momentum usually matters in the primaries and sometimes it matters a lot but exactly how many Democrats would change their votes as a result is hard to say. The wave of negative coverage might be especially bad for Clinton, but its also possible that, because the media has sounded false alarms on Clinton before, shed be relatively immune to the effects of another round of bad press."
