Is this too rude? Or not rude enough?

I posted a link that I found here on Facebook.

The comment was: Is It "Too Soon" To Remind Everyone That PUTIN Used The NRA To Bankroll Trump's Campaign?

And the link was to a story from Rolling Stone with the headline: The Trump-Russia-NRA Connection: Here’s What You Need to Know

A Facebook friend (more like an acquaintance from High School - I'm 59 years old) commented: Fake News

I took a while to answer, wasn't sure what to say. Today I finally answered:

Canned response! Can't make any real response or refute the article, so you just say Fake News. Why don't you take your Fake President and shove him where the sun don't shine!

Raj Shah's immigrant parents

Anyone know the circumstances of his parents immigration and if there was any "chain migration" involved?

He is the jerk (Trump's Principal Deputy White House Press Secretary) who was on Chris Cuomo talking a lot of shit a few minutes ago.

According to Wikipedia:

Shah's parents immigrated to the U.S. from Mumbai with origins in Gujarat, India. His father came to the U.S. for studies in the 1970s, then moved back to India. After their marriage, his father and mother returned to the US in late 1970s, living first in Chicago and then in Connecticut,[3] he an engineer, she a dentist.[1] Shah was born and raised in Connecticut.[3]

Seen on Facebook

Trump loyalists and Hillary haters keep scrolling!

Another idea: Dems take the House, House elects Hillary as Speaker (Speaker doesn’t have to be a member of the House), then impeach Trump & Pence which makes Hillary President! Yes, that’s the ticket!

Remember the names

Here is the full list of those that have called for Franken to resign:

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/06/full-list-senators-call-for-al-franken-to-resign-282175

Remember these names.

Also remember these names. The ones that didn't call for Al Franken to resign.

Democratic senators who had not yet called on Franken to resign:

Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut,
Ben Cardin of Maryland,
Chris Coons of Delaware,
Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada,
Tim Kaine of Virginia,
Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota,
Joe Manchin of West Virginia,
Bob Menendez of New Jersey,
Brian Schatz of Hawaii,
Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire,
Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and
Mark Warner of Virginia.

Coons, Shaheen and Schatz couldn't comment due to the pending investigation before the Ethics Committee. This article was written on 12/6 so if there are any on the "didn't call for resignation" list that ultimately asked him to resign please update

Ted Cruz grabbed my butt..

See how easy it is to make a baseless allegation.

I am sick and tired of the Al Franken groping controversy. Except for the first allegation there is no proof that any of it actually happened.

Even the first allegation is fishy. It isn't possible to "forcibly put your tongue" in someone else's mouth. There I not one but two barriers. First, if you put your lips together it's pretty hard to stick a tongue I. If you get past the lips there are teeth. It would be pretty damn hard to get a tongue past clenched teeth.

The picture is fishy too. He isn't actually touching her and she has a flack jacket on. And there was at least the photographer there - and probably others since it was on a plane.

The others have even less credibility. Two were anonymous. This is getting out of hand.

Trump might send 60,000 Hondurans back home - and it could backfire, officials say

Trump might send 60,000 Hondurans back home - and it could backfire, officials say
TEGUCIGALPA
With the Trump administration set to decide next month whether to renew Temporary Protected Status for nearly 60,000 Hondurans — potentially sending them back to a country they barely know — government leaders and citizens in the Central American country worry the move could worsen economic and food insecurity problems, and even prompt some immigrants to return to the U.S. illegally.

The U.S. granted Hondurans the special immigration status in 1999 after Hurricane Mitch, allowing them to stay in the country without fear of deportation as long as the designation continued. TPS grants immigrants legal status in the U.S. —they can work and must pay taxes — because of conditions in their home country, such as civil war or natural disaster. Since the hurricane, the U.S. has renewed TPS for Hondurans 13 times.

The Trump administration has said it may revoke TPS for some countries, affecting as many as 300,000 people from the Western Hemisphere. In addition to Honduras, it currently extends to Haitians, Salvadorans, Nicaraguans, among others.

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has called on the Trump administration to continue TPS for the “honest” and “hardworking” Hondurans in the U.S. The U.S. is expected to make a TPS decision for Honduras in early November, 60 days before the current Jan. 5 expiration.

Smerconish doesn't understand free speech

Smerconish and his guest talk about Comey being shouted down and a new study with its author.

The relevant segmento starts at 13:06

Freedom of speech gives you the right to say something without the government stopping you. It doesn't give you the right to say it without being shouted down or punched in the face.
