It occurs to me that Trump might have a legitimate Mental Illness. He clearly is a Narcissist to the point that it is a Personality Disorder. He has no compunctions about lying, has no empathy for others. This goes beyond temperament. I am sympathetic to the plight of people who suffer Madness, but a Personality Disorder should disqualify a person from being President. Trump is truly dangerous, and it is a sad state when the nominee of the Republican Party is clearly not mentally stable.
Trump Plays The Media
If Trump wins this election, the Media will be partly to blame. Trump uses the media to stoke the fires of the irrationals who make up his base of supporters. Trump knows that even bad publicity is good publicity. Unfortunately, the bulk of Trump supporters do not respond to Reason. They agree with the heinous things that Trump says and implies. So reporting the heinous stuff stokes his base.
Trump will lie and change positions at the drop of the hat just so he, the Great Narcissist, can be elected. And that election is a real possibility, I hate to admit. Anyway, Hillary uses reason to counter Trump, but reason does not work on the core of irrational Trump followers.
If only Hillary could better tap into the outrage against Trump. I am a former Sanders supporter, but I fully support Hillary now. Trump needs to be stopped, and the Media needs to stop feeding this guy's campaign with tons of free coverage for his verbal gaffes and crimes.
Stopping Trump
I am a Sanders supporter but will support Hillary if she wins the Nomination. I am hoping that Bernie will continue his Progressive Political Revolution no matter what. He will still lead from the Senate if he does not get the Nomination. We need more Sanders Democrats to run for office and change America for the better.
Anyway, I am very anti-Trump, and I think we need to focus our fire on Trump. Both Bernie and Hillary should work together on this. Trump is a dangerous Clown. I was looking at some images on Google showing Trump in clown face make-up. I think the images were from the cover of the New York Daily News.
If anyone out there is good with graphics, those images would make great posters and tee-shirts for anti-Trump demonstrators. I imagine the style of the image would be like a negative version of the old Obama "Hope" image, with Trump in Clown Make-up with the words "Trumpo The Clown" on the poster. Trump is a dangerous and obnoxious Clown and needs to be stopped. He calls Hillary "Crooked Hillary" and Bernie "Crazy Bernie". Maybe we should label him "Dumb Donald" and give him a taste of his own medicine.
Peace Needs To Be Made Between Hillary And Sanders Camps
I am a Sanders Supporter, but I think Peace needs to be made between the two camps- Hillary and Bernie. It is not productive for both sides to be at each others throats. Hillary and her People must recognize the power and legitimacy of the Sanders Political Revolution and the Millions of People who support it. That is on the one hand.
On the other hand, The Sanders People must recognize that Hilary is the likely Democratic Candidate. As a Sanders Supporter, I am still hopeful for a strong result in California. Regardless of how that Primary turns out, Bernie has already earned a place at the Table, and Hillary and her People need to acknowledge that and respect that if we are all to go forward to oppose Trump.
Both sides need to develop more respect for each other. The real Enemy at this point is Trump. We need to get past our differences and unite against Trump.

Sanders Democrats
I was wondering if anyone has a list of Democrats and Independents that are running for Elected Office that are Bernie Supporters, Democrats and Independents alike. I think Jillian posted once that there are about 100 Bernie Supporters running for other offices currently.
To me, people like this are the future of the Sanders Political Revolution. Even if Bernie fails to get the Democratic Nomination, he has succeeded in starting a National Progressive Movement that will continue on past this Election.
Anyway, I am trying to find resources online about who is running for Office Downticket from Bernie across the Country. I hope that we have a deep bench of Sanders Progressives who will carry the Movement onwards. I also welcome any comments, ideas, and suggestions on this Thread about this topic.
Beyond This Election
I think that Bernie should take his Campaign as far as it can go. Win or Lose. Because the Movement that he has started, the Political Revolution that he has started, can go on beyond his Candidacy and this Election. We need a Progressive Movement in and around the Democratic Party and Bernie has started that. Whether we Win or Lose the Nomination, it is already a Victory. The Political Revolution that Bernie started can continue on and go further.
We need an Alliance of Sanders Democrats and Independents that pushes forward Bernie's Philosophies, Policies and Values. Just as the Republicans have their Tea Party, we have our Sanders Progressives. We need to field and elect as many Sanders Democrats and Independents as possible, inside and outside the Democratic Party.
Many of tomorrow's elected officials are supporters of Bernie's today. Bernie's campaign should be a call to action for all of us. We need to continue to organize to run Sanders Progressives as candidates at the Local, State, and Federal levels. This Movement is beyond one person.
We need to take control of the Congress and mobilize locally in every State across the Nation. Even if Bernie does not get the Nomination, his Candidacy can be the start of a new Progressive Movement in America. With Sanders still in the Senate, he can lead a National Progressive Movement across America to elect Sanders Progressives, and change our Nation for the better. Whether we Win or Lose the Nomination, the Fight goes on.
My Opinion
I think Sanders Progressives should play the long game. It would be a disaster of Biblical Proportions if Trump gets elected. I am not a fan of Hilllary's, but she is 100 times better than any Republican. Bernie has said so.
I think if Bernie does not get the Nomination, he should use his energy to be the Progressive Leader in the Senate. We need to launch a small army of Progressive Candidates for Local, State, and Federal office. We need people with the same Integrity, Values, and Policy positions as Bernie to run as Sanders Democrats and Independents in future elections.
A Trump Presidency would be an unmitigated disaster. We would be so preoccupied with fighting him that there would be little room for progress. Bernie should look at the example of that Great Liberal Lion, Ted Kennedy. Senator Kennedy made his own attempts at the Presidency, but chose not to split the vote by running on his own outside the Democratic Party. It was a smart tactical decision.
Kennedy did extraordinary things with his career in the Senate. Rather than running as a spoiler, I think Bernie should use his political capital to lead a new Progressive Movement. I think that he could do this from within the Senate. Bernie could be the de facto leader of the Progressive opposition to Hillary's Administration in the Senate.
I would rather fight a Clinton Administration than a Trump Administration. Losing to Hillary would be a loss, but seeing Trump elected would be a disaster. If Hillary were elected, Bernie could lead a Movement from the Senate to keep her as honest and Progressive as possible.
All of Bernie's supporters could support a myriad of Progressive Candidates from both within and outside of the Democratic Party. Bernie can lead this Movement from the Senate. The Republicans have their Tea Party. We have our Sanders Democrats and Independents.
If Hillary gets the Nom and the Election, we should focus on getting as many Sanders Supporters elected to Congress so that she can not feel free to move back to the Center-Right. This is a much better scenario than a Trump Presidency, which would be a Nightmare.
Sanders Political Revolution (Please Forward)
Hey, I am new to this Forum. I am a Bernie Sanders Supporter and I am trying to spread a message to ensure that Bernie's Political Revolution continues past the nomination and presidential election. Here is my message. It is a call to action for Sanders Supporters everywhere-
Sanders Political Revolution
--(Please forward this Message to as many Friends and Allies of Bernie’s that you can.)-
The Sanders Campaign for the Democratic Nomination for the Presidency has mobilized a new kind of Political Action in America. Bernie calls it a Political Revolution. As Sanders Supporters, we are all working towards his nomination and ultimately winning the White House.
With that said, there is no reason that the Sanders Political Revolution needs to end once the nomination process and the election is complete. We need to keep moving these Values and Political Goals forward by electing as many Sanders Supporters to political office as is possible.
Bernie has shown that there is a vital and new Progressive presence in America amongst Democrats and Independents. We might call ourselves “Sanders Democrats”, a movement of people inspired by Bernie’s political philosophy, his progressivism, and his policy positions.
The Sanders Political Movement can and should go beyond Bernie’s candidacy. We need a new cadre of Politicians in America that agree with Bernie’s Values and Policies and who will work to realize them in the Political System by running for office.
We need Citizens who are willing to throw their hats in the ring to further those Values and Policies. The rest of the Movement needs to seek out and support those willing to run for office and move our Values and Policies forward.
Even if Bernie is elected to the Presidency, it is incumbent on us all to work to support his Goals and push his Policies through the Political Process.
Bernie needs Allies in Local, State, and Federal Government. We need to seek out qualified Sanders Democrats and Independents to run for office so as to build the Movement into the future.
The Political Movement that Bernie has begun can be more fully realized by organizing on the ground, state by state, across the Nation, to nominate and elect as many Sanders Democrats as is possible, at as many levels of government as is possible.
Tomorrow’s political leaders are already working today to get Bernie nominated and elected. If you are working for Bernie, or know someone who is, we encourage qualified and motivated Citizens to consider running for office as Sanders Democrats or Independents.
There is no reason for this Progressive Movement and Political Revolution to end with Bernie’s candidacy or with this election. Senator Sanders has shown us the way forward through his character, integrity, and values.
It is now up to us, Sanders Democrats and their Allies, to pick up the gauntlet and move forward to change America for the better and to create a more Just and Democratic Society.
