(2,844 posts)That being said everyone here had better get used to many more articles like this until next year. We already have several qualified people declaring their intention to run for president and there will undoubtedly be many more. The vetting process is arduous, painful and sometimes brutal. There can only be one presidential nominee so there are going to be many all over this country whose feelings (albeit only for a short time) are going to be hurt eventually.
I think having this many candidates is a good thing. They all bring good qualifications and ideas to the table. In the end, hopefully, we'll have the best possible candidate to leave the republican alternative in a cloud of smoke and take this country on a much needed, energetic and fruitful journey into the future. That is the candidate I will support 100%.
