He really wasn't expecting to get this far. It was just a short term gig to get some free publicity and gin up his brand. Unfortunately, winning is addictive, especially to people like Trump. He has always gotten away with so much crap, he didn't realize that running for president is different. He is going to regret this adventure, if he hasn't already.
