To borrow from Homer Simpson "the cause of AND solution to ALL of LIFE'S problems", in this case Homer was talking about beer. It's not politically correct to hate family but let's face it family dynamics represent some of the most screwed up, fucked up emotional relationships you can have. I know exactly what you mean by the passive aggressiveness. In fact I'm going to make a separate post about that.
