it be done by a Dr, not a jewelry store in the mall. I desperately wanted pierced ears so I didn't object.
When I was in college, I got second holes in each ear and I had it done in a mall.

i think i was 12. not quite a teen and i think htat is why my mom did it. make up at 13.
