I finally got chance to see the film "Judas and the Black Messiah" about what lead up to the assassination of Chicago Black Panther Chapter head Fred Hampton, including use of an in embedded informant and DOJ's (the FBI's) significant role in ordering it (Hoover).

Imagine Martin Sheen as Hoover. Took me awhile to figure out who was playing that character early on in the film.
