I live in Ga and folks really like him (Collins). and by folks i mean the rabid racist who like Mr. Trump. People wanted Governor Kemp to appoint him to Johnny Isakson's seat.

There is some interesting inside base ball going on regarding the Senate race in November. Much stems from how close the governor's race was recently. Stacey Abrams just about cleaned house against Kemp, but luckily he was the Secretary of State and was able to rig the election via voter suppression.

one can't rule out right vote total tampering either given: 1) we don't have a paper audit trail; 2) the electronic voting machines where compromised during the 2016 election.

so the state GOP thought putting Loeffler in would win back the white suburban females that are leaving the party in mass thanks to Mr Trumps nasty record of "grabbing them by the" and Kemps shady ties to scummy folks. [1]

our state NPR platform Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) has a daily politics show called Political Rewind and from time to time they let Mr. Collins spread his propaganda unchecked. so voters in the state are very familiar with him.
