*NOT* part of an actual DoD Budget.
Once those troops crossed the threshold in Iraq, WE WERE COMMITTED.
Therefore you pay ANY PRICE to succeed in the mission and keep American troops supplied, fed, and accommodated.
That's part of trying to win the damned conflict.
The whole point folks like Sen. Sanders, Sen. Robert Byrd, the Congressional Black Caucus, and many others fought for was PREVENTING the Iraq invasion in the first place.
Don't add everyone who voted to fund the war effort (in support of troops in combat) to the bandwagon of co-signers of the actual Iraq invasion Bush & Co. wanted and got.
