Trump, Carson, and Fiorina are non-politicians. When you add their numbers together, that's nearly half the party.

It only confirms the GOP is in a civil war between the base and the party establishment. A large segment of their base do not want a career politician supported by the establishment (Jeb, Walker, Christie, etc).

If Trump implodes, Cruz will probably have the inside track. But either Carson or Fiorina will also benefit.
