22. if it is okay to criticize beliefs commonly held by Muslims - I really cannot understand why it is

not okay to criticize beliefs commonly held by many Jews. The notion of being a chosen people is not a marginal belief in Judaism. It is a fairly common belief. The notion that it is okay to establish a state in someone else's county because God gave it to them thousands of years ago is not a marginal belief. It is a common belief.

Okay, I realize not all Jews hold these beliefs. Just as I realize not all Muslims hold some of the less tasteful beliefs of Islam. But if we are going to be honest and say, "Okay we are not attacking Muslims - we are only attacking beliefs held by many Muslims" - Then why cannot we say, "Okay we are not attacking Jews - we are attacking beliefs held by many Jews."

Surely, there has to be standard that allows attack on both systems of thinking while not attacking the individuals?
