With that number of years of warfare against the racist KKKulture of this country, that continues unabated and seemingly growing today in 2015 at the behest of the real powers of this country, it seems to me that this KKKulture is irredeemably lost to the RW racists that now make the laws of the nation. A veto pen only works sometimes. Those real people of power that are keeping the willfully ignorant agitated and stirred up against the POC, to distract and deflect attention of those IGNORANT, willfully blind masses, while they are robbing ALL of us into real poverty is a shameful reflection of what this country likes to portray itself as being to the world. What a goddamn joke this 'democracy' is. The hypocrisy and irony of any POC STILL having to fight for rights in the first goddamn place, rights enjoyed by the 'privileged', is not appreciated by MANY out here still fighting, crying and dying at the hands of the david duke clones who hide behind badges and their masters in the Congressional and Judicial halls of power. It's all about power and a lot of them are very afraid of losing their illusion of power, supremacy and privilege.
