Saturday evening, I bought a 'Smithsonian' magazine when we were at the grocery store. [View all]

In today's mail, I received a subscription offer for... the Smithsonian. Preferred Senior Offer.
The had my correct name, address and the Senior part correct.

For some reason, I do not think this was a coincidence. In fact this is really kinda scary. I don't normally get subscription offers for any magazine I buy there.
I have never subscribed to the Smithsonian either.

You don't supposed they are in cahoots with the NSA?
