10. The State of Texas has billions in a "rainy day fund." IMO that's what this event is.

No way the federal govt (meaning us) should be helping to pay these outrageous bills, especially when they want nothing to do with federal regulations, thus causing this in the first place.

IMO if the federal govt helps in this situation it is an incentive for Texas to keep things as is. That is simply wrong. The state itself can deal with the problem and must do so.
