(13,041 posts)26. In deed. Not to mention the historicity of the office - so many decisions have & continue to be made
impacting the fate of the nation & fate of the world within those hallowed walls. Huge sigh of relief we are now in good hands, and at least for the next 4 years we can sleep better.
Aloha Cha. Well we did it! I've been a bit sleep deprived as of late w work & all that's gone on till Biden was sworn in. Now that he & Kamala are, & our new 3 senators ensconced in the senate i hope we can all decompress a bit.
BTW that Jen Psaki is a pistol! Just saw her again on Morning Joe - sharp and spunky and everything we need in a bonafide Press Secretary .

OP
Those were Clintons, as was the blue rug. He will get to request his own choice for both to be made

The gold drapes were Clintons. Trump's slightly lighter yellow gold drapes were removed.

There's a door there. The stain is from people shutting the door and not using the door knob.

I totally agree the gold curtains have to go. They're tacky and a symbol of the way

Filled with the likenesses of admirable leaders. Glad portrait of Andrew Jackson has been removed.

Well, there were photos of it with Trump--that's why I edited it from assuming Obama, but regardless

The walls, drapes and furniture colors are too reminiscent of "old hotel room".
