That's what blew these gaping holes in the federal budget in the first place: Letting the wealthy off the hook for paying for the system that made them wealthy. Want reform some entitlement programs? How about rolling back the tax breaks for large petroleum companies and agricultural subsidies for large corporate farms? We could also re-purpose some of the $2 billion we spend every day on the military.
