I can understand that if he's not doing a lot of lawyering things -- representing clients in court, filing court papers, taking depositions, that kind of thing.
But why would you have to have more than 1 client to be a lawyer? It seems to me if someone (e.g., Trump) says you're my lawyer, and there has ever been any lawyering going on there, then he IS a lawyer. Now, when the conversations don't involve lawyering, then that shouldn't be protected. But to say the guy isn't even a lawyer just doesn't add up to me.
Besides, he's been involved in many of Trump's business deals and negotiations and I don't understand why that's not considered a lawyer's tasks. All those agreements and legal documents in real estate deals!

trump co always had a shit load of lawyers...i always thought of cohen as more admin than front line
