I heard Bill Maher used his first day back to dump on Biden

and suggest we should keep trump. When will Bill Maher move to Fux Nooze. That's where he belongs.

Just got an idea about a new congressional caucus

called "Dumbasses in Congress"

Of course Marjorie Taylor Greene would be the Chairperson. The Freedumb Caucus members would all be in automatically.

Coerced, censored, shut down: How will Supreme Court manage social media's toxic sludge?

from USAToday

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/09/22/facebook-x-supreme-court-censorship-coercion-social-media/70796180007/

WASHINGTON – Looking back on it, Philip Cohen takes a measure of pride in the fact that he was blocked by the former president of the United States. But in that moment in 2017, when Cohen pulled up Donald Trump's feed on what was then known as Twitter and realized what happened, he didn't feel smug or vindicated. He felt muted. "I was honestly shocked," said Cohen, a sociologist who was blocked after repeatedly posting criticism of Trump's tweets and who responded by suing the former president and claiming that the move violated the First Amendment. Cohen said his snarky posts were like "carrying a sign at a protest – but with a much bigger audience."

Though the Supreme Court dodged Cohen's appeal in 2021, the justices now have another opportunity to decide whether public officials may block Americans on social media. It's one of several cases pending at the high court with potentially enormous consequences for the way Americans interact on the internet. Legal experts say the Supreme Court term that begins next month could also be the most important in decades in determining the extent of the government's power to regulate the online content.

At stake in one set of cases is whether the First Amendment shields social media platforms for their handling of controversial voices and views. The question is critical as Facebook, YouTube and X play an ever growing role in the lives of Americans and democracy. Yet another case questions whether the Biden administration crossed a line when officials pressured the platforms to remove posts dealing with COVID-19 and elections.

WTF Alexa!!!!!!

Jesus H Christ. Alexa, who only notifies me when a storm's brewing or I have a delivery just blipped in to tell me Hunter Biden was indicted. WHO THE FUCK CARES? And why is this more important than every shitty thing these republicans have done and are trying to do to destroy our democracy? She never makes a peep about that! Not even a peep about Dump or his a-holes. How fucking weird is this country going to get? The shitty ass wisconsin repuglicans just voted to remove a non-partisan election official. I guess that doesn't rank up there with a dumbass weapons charge for Hunter Biden. This fucking country is so twisted now.

Anyone have the echo show? Does it keep showing crap from Fux Nooze?

For those that don't know, you can go into your Alexa app and change your news source. I could not believe it defaulted to Fux Nooze. Amazon should change that to make you select a news source instead of just feeding you bullshit. This page shows how you can change your settings.

Saw the movie Soylent Green again

I remember seeing this in the mid 70's. It takes place in 2022 lol. Sadly, watching this movie struck some parallels to what is happening today. The biggest thing is the homeless people all over the streets. Big cities are starting to mirror that. If we keep going the fascist route I am afraid we'll get very close to how society was depicted in that movie. The only difference would be that repug fascists wouldn't even try to feed anyone, they would just let people starve.

Members of extremist group Patriot Front sue activist who infiltrated, identified them

Source: USAToday

Members of the white supremacist organization Patriot Front have filed a federal lawsuit against a leftist activist, claiming he infiltrated their group and revealed their identities as members of the racist organization.

The activist's "doxxing" of the four plaintiffs as members of Patriot Front cost them their jobs, incomes and relationships with family members, the lawsuit claims.

Filed in federal court in the Western District of Washington by a Spokane law firm, the case is an unusual new tactic from members of Patriot Front. The Texas-based group has gained notoriety for holding marches with dozens of masked young men wearing chinos, carrying American flags and chanting slogans. Last year, 31 members of Patriot Front were arrested when police pulled over a U-Haul that was allegedly transporting them to disrupt a Pride event in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They were charged with conspiracy to riot.

George Santos - another lesson in lack of GOP ethics or accountability

Santos' continued presence in the House makes Kevin McCarthy bear sole responsibility for the lack of ethics in the House, just as Mitch McConnell was responsible for leaving Donald Dump in the white house to harass our country and other countries and snub his nose at our legal system. Repuglicans have proven over and over they are not fit to govern. Their SCOTUS choices even lacked ethics and morals. They look for every reason to break laws governing our democracy that many people died to defend. A far as Santos is concerned, I know it seems like I'm beating a dead one-trick pony but I want to shine a flashlight back on the fact we have deceitful law breakers still making law, thanks to McCarthy, and remind everyone how Santos should be in jail, just as Don Dump should. They are disgusting and so are their supporters.

Jonathan Turley is a big dumbass

He's on Fux Nooze spouting this bullshit on how the trump indictment is the justice dept is trying to criminalize misinformation. So the stupid shit would rather just use free speech as a way for politicians and businessmen to just continue to lie out of their asses with no accountability. I say if the misinformation is spouted for the sole purpose of harming society or an individual, then it's criminal. He's such an idiot.

Michael Jackson - Slave to the Rythm

This was put together for a live performance after he died. I still am amazed everytime I see this use of 3D and hologram imaging along with real dancers. Just blows my mind.
