He suggested that candidate Biden would lose to trump, and, while acknowledging the wonderful job Joe has done in four years, that a younger candidate would reenergize Democrats in a way Biden would not.

I said "I heard" so you have every right to correct me, even though your correction doesn't make me feel any better about Maher. It hasn't been just lately either.

You can dump on him for wanting a Democratic alternative to Biden in ‘24 but get your facts straight.

was much more nuanced than people seem to think. He did not suggest even once that we should keep trump. I'd love to see a clip of when he said that.

That 2020 is not 2024 and Joe Biden is in a weaker position now than in 2020; he doesn't energize the Democratic base; that Joe Biden has done good things but it's time for Joe Biden to move on because Trump may very well beat Joe Biden this time.

He ain't woke. He hates variable pronouns.

But, he will support the Democrats.

On balance, the show was down the middle in politics, and reasonably funny.

Bill has set the bar so low that regurgitating Republican talking point's while giving basic criticisms of Trump is seen as being good enough lol.
