The ongoing CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) meeting brings up a good question:
How do we protect the sane 99.9 % of us from toxic bad faith actors?
Not only on social media (ex: Twitter and Facebook), but over unprincipled “News” networks (ex: Fox, Newsmax, OAN (One America News), etc)
The Russians had one answer, when after WW2, they invited themselves to stay and take over Hungary, they rounded up all the lawyers.
We need to figure out, how . . . despite laws against foreigners being prohibited from owning media (ex: TV networks, radio stations, etc.) Rupert Murdoch has been allowed to do what he has done: Practically destroy America with his toxic oligarch funded propaganda.
If you can stomach it, look at Fox and the slew of new wannabe social polluter copy-cats out there who nightly spew anti covid19 vaccine information, gaslight their viewers on the recent election, keep making Hillary and Benghazi “an issue”, etc. etc. etc.
Now even Aljazeera is getting into the “how lunatic low” can I get?

I call BS on George Will
George Will tried to give “cover” for Mitch McConnell’s puzzling mixed message.
Mitch McConnell “instructed” his side of the SENATE TO SUPPORT Trump (and probably, single-handedly gave him a lifeline)! He then, immediately turned around, speaking out of “both sides of his mouth” . . . puzzellingly denounced Trump.
George Will recently wrote that Mitch McConnell is playing 4-Dimensional Chess.
That "McConnell knows that Trump's grip on the Republican base … is important in candidate-selection primaries … But not unshakable. (that) Trump might soon have a bruising rendezvous with the prosecutors in the Southern District of New York . . . (and the) heavy lifting involved in shrinking Trump's influence must be done by politics."
Does Nikki Haley have more guts, character, integrity, and conscience that Mitch McConnell??? She understands that if Trump had been cut off at the knees . . . taxpayers would not have to give the former President funds for travel ($1 million a year) and support his office staff and on-going security . . . and because of Mitch McConnell, the former President can now continue to Fund Raise for his future Political Campaigns!
Mitch, we know that Trump is not only troubling for the Republican Party . . . but America’s future itself! Thanks for nothing Mitch!

It's now clear that the January 6 mob attack on Capitol Hill, while failing in its bid to reverse Trump's election loss, has utterly fractured the basic level of trust needed to make a political system function — at a critical national moment.
In the quarter century of bitter political battles since former speaker Newt Gingrich's Republican revolution, Washington has never been this inflamed.
As evidenced by Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy and their coterie’s actions, this is what is going on! It is clear that the majority of Republicans (at least the Trumpster / MAGA / Patriot Party branch) want Biden’s initiatives to fail.

- Destroy the only airplanes that can fly over Russia and monitor what they are up to
- Perhaps, while keeping the Pentagon in a news blackout (and not cooperating with the incoming Administration), provoke a “Wag the Dog” false flag operation against Iran, California?

Who can do this?
DC police?, DC EMT or Walter Reed Psychiatric units?, a Sargent at Arms in Congress?, can a Prosecutor in Florida issue a Commitment for Psychiatric Observation warrant?
Get his family (for their sake) conduct an intervention?
He has broken the “normal” process for removing him! The twenty-fifth Amendment (Amendment XXV) route is not going to happen, with sycophants surrounding him.

Operation Warp Speed is run by warped people, what could go wrong?
The POLITICAL people in the Whitehouse are continuing to confuse, ignore, and misdirect the National effort needed to save American lives.
Are States going to be getting what was projected, or not? Is a fear of airplanes crashing, and loosing the vaccines . . . (because of the Winter Storm) the reason that 30% of shipments are being held back? Trump has a financial incentive to boost Moderna sales, is that why he is directing the holding back of Pfizer/BioNTech's doses? Who knows?
But what IS known, is that since the very beginning . . . the whole pandemic response has been botched!
For example . . . there was Jared Kushner’s Wannsee moment.
The lack of a National coordinated approach to handling of this Pandemic (in the USA) is apparently NOT an accident. NOR is it just incompetence!
Question to ponder / research:
In early 1942, Reinhard Heydrich called for the Wannsee Conference to formalized plans to do mass murder. It has been reported that at a Pandemic Task Force meeting, Jared Kushner and some “POLITICAL people” formalized plans to let people in “blue” States die . . . and decided to CANCEL (ie: pull the plug) on his just to be launched National Testing / Tracing plans.
They decided not to launch their newly put together National Testing / Tracing initiative . . . so the Republicans can blame “blue” State Governors for the way they handled the pandemic. (Remember – at that time … only New Jersey, New York, and California were being hammered).
Which action is more evil? (The term the Lincoln Project is using). One can also ask: Which action is more calculated? More demented?
We know 6 million died because of one conference, we still do not know how many will die (or suffer the severe Medical and Economic consequences) from this other calculated decision.
To Trump, Fox News, and most of the Republicans in his administration. . . it seems . . . by the way they talk about it . . . one death is a TRAGEDY, but 320,000 + deaths is merely a STATISTIC.
Let us all be clear . . . the lack of a National coordinated approach to handling this Pandemic in the USA is not an accident.
Historians will have to un-earth and judge as to who made, what decisions, when . . . in the USA’s botched handling of the currently still unfolding Pandemic catastrophe.
Now, to compound their initial shirking of duty to come up with a National Testing / Tracing plan . . . these POLITICAL people are also apparently miss-handling the distribution of the vaccine as well. That is why we can say that . . . it is not a surprise that Operation Warp Speed is being botched by POLITICAL people that are warped.

The CRITICAL hurdle in Georgia!
It is ESSENTIAL that Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock win! Why?
We must not forget, what Mitch (the “GRIM REAPER”) McConnell did to Obama; when he famously said… “It might be inelegant to say this . . . but our main job as Republicans is to make Obama a one term president”.
To thwart a repeat on this type of sabotage being perpetrated on America . . . and this type of callousness hindering the upcoming Biden Administration . . . *** we must move heaven and earth to elect these two to the Senate ***.
Here is what is at stake, if we do not have Chuck Schumer leading the Senate:
No passing of a meaningful COVID relief bill (Mitch would no want to have a good economy under Biden)
No expansion of health coverage, the ACA (Affordable Care Act) will surely be gutted, and Biden’s Administration will be helpless to stop it (Remember the “new” Supreme Court)
No aggressive legislation to address climate change
No move toward universal child care
No increase in the minimum wage
No new Voting Rights Act
No infrastructure spending, let alone any “Green New Deal”
No getting rid of the Senate filibuster
No granting of statehood to the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico
No reform of the Supreme and Appellate courts
No common sense gun reform
No meaningful Immigration reform, and the continuation of the limbo for DACA kids
In Summary
WINNING THE WHITEHOUSE IS GREAT, BUT NOT SUFFICIENT!
