Saturday Night Album Rock - The Black Keys - Brothers

Brothers (printed as This is an album by The Black Keys. The name of this album is Brothers. on the front cover) is the sixth studio album by American rock duo The Black Keys. Co-produced by the group, Mark Neill, and Danger Mouse, it was released on May 18, 2010 on Nonesuch Records. Brothers was the band's commercial breakthrough, as it sold over 73,000 copies in the United States in its first week and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, their best performance on the chart to that point.

The album's lead single, "Tighten Up", the only track from the album produced by Danger Mouse, became their most successful single to that point, spending 10 weeks at number one on the Alternative Songs chart and becoming the group's first single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 87 and was later certified gold. The second single, "Howlin' for You", went gold as well. In April 2012, the album was certified platinum in the US by the RIAA for shipping over one million copies. It also went double-platinum in Canada and gold in the UK. In 2011, it won three Grammy Awards, including honors for Best Alternative Music Album.

The Black Keys - I Got Mine (2nd COVID shot today...lol)

The song "I Got Mine" has been used in HBO's sports reality series 24/7: Pacquiao-Hatton as well as background music for the 2009 American League Championship Series. The song is also used as the opening theme music for the CTV/CBS Canadian police drama The Bridge. The song has been performed many times live on television, including the Late Show with David Letterman in April 2008. The band Illinoise regularly performs this song at shows as part of their setlist. It was also sampled by Ski Beatz on the song "I Got Mines" on the album 24 Hour Karate School. It appears in the films The A-Team, The Watch, Homefront, and Tomorrowland. "I Got Mine" is also featured in the video game Tony Hawk: Ride.

Beauty Behind the Madness is the second studio album by Canadian singer the Weeknd. It was released on August 28, 2015, through XO and Republic Records. The album features guest appearances from Labrinth, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey, with production by the Weeknd himself, Kanye West, Stephan Moccio, DaHeala, Illangelo, Ben Billions, DannyBoyStyles, Max Martin, and Ali Payami, among others.

Beauty Behind the Madness was supported by five singles: "Often", "The Hills", "Can't Feel My Face", "In the Night", and "Acquainted". "The Hills" and "Can't Feel My Face" both reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album also includes the Academy Award-nominated song "Earned It", which was released as a single from the soundtrack to Fifty Shades of Grey.

Beauty Behind the Madness received generally positive reviews from critics, debuting at number one in several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, and in its first week recorded sales of 412,000 units in addition to streaming. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, it became the tenth best-selling album of 2015, with 1.5 million copies sold worldwide.

30 years of Bad Religion - AOL Studio Performance - 2010-09-27

These guys were awesome back in my day...and 30 years later they still sounded perfect. Graffin is the only constant member and his vocals have literally never changed.

As an aside...In 2011 the new type species Qiliania graffini of an extinct bird from the lower Cretaceous was named after Graffin "for his contributions to evolutionary biology, his public out-reach through music, and his inspiration to young scientists around the world".
