Beau of the Fifth Column
Super Stupid - Funkadelic
Super Stupid off the Maggot Brain Album produced by George Clinton. The more popular song, Maggot Brain has been posted here at DU numerous times in the past and is arguably one of the best P-funk songs ever.
I thought this songs lyrics captured dumps adderall addiction and personality perfectly.
[Verse 1]
Super stupid bought a five cent bag
He thought it was coke but it was scag
Super stupid took a one and one
Then his eyes begin to bug and his nose begin to run
[Verse 2]
Oh, stupid with your ups and downs
Your maggot brain, your grins and frowns
Super stupid you're here today
You've lost the fight and the winner is fear
Masks Could Become Illegal In North Carolina (Again) Under KKK-Inspired Law
North Carolina lawmakers attempted in the early hours of Friday morning to undermine the Democratic governors announcement that face coverings would be required in public to stem the spread of COVID-19.
Since the 1950s, North Carolina has banned mask-wearing in public, a law aimed at members of the Ku Klux Klan. That law ran up against guidelines to keep people safe from the coronavirus, and earlier this year, the state voted to exempt citizens from the law until Aug. 1. But when Democratic lawmakers attempted to extend that exemption, Republicans blocked the effort at around 2 a.m., despite an increased number of cases in the state.
Democrats say that North Carolina Republicans are invoking the law in an effort to undermine Democratic Gov. Roy Coopers face mask mandate, set to go into effect on Friday.

Angelina Jordan and Screamin Jay Hawkins - I Put a Spell On You
Angelina has a passion for music that surpasses her years. She recorded this when she was just 11 years old as an homage to one of her favorites, Screamin Jay Hawkins.
Niela Miller and Billy Roberts (Baby, Please Don't Go to Town - Hey Joe)
WikipediaBilly Roberts performed "Hey Joe" regularly in the late 1950s and early 1960s, without copyrighting it, and some other performers including Pete Seeger recognized that it had been developed from Niela Miller's song. In 1962, Roberts registered the song as his composition at the Library of Congress, and recorded a demo tape of it. Niela Miller separately registered some of her songs, including "Baby, Please Dont Go to Town". Seeger offered to testify on her behalf so she could claim part of the credit for "Hey Joe", but this was not pursued. Roberts also played the song when touring with his friend Dino Valenti. When Valenti moved to California in 1963 he began performing it himself, and copyrighted it in Los Angeles as his own composition.
Deep Purple - Space Truckin' (Live in New York 1973)
They played at Tampa Stadium across the water from my house in 1973. No video from that show though. An epic show. Nobody rocked a Hammond Organ like Jon Lord...nobody.
I'm Waiting For The Man - The Velvet Underground
Written by Lou Reed.
In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it #159 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The song would go on to influence David Bowie in the writing of his 1977 song 'Heroes' Wikipedia
