'Permanently damaged': 46-year-old San Francisco woman allegedly cyberbullied three boys for years

'Permanently damaged': 46-year-old San Francisco woman allegedly cyberbullied three boys for years

SFGATEThe harassment campaigns allegedly began in May 2016.

Ramajana Hidic Demirovic, a 46-year-old woman who lived in San Francisco at the time, went to a 14-year-old boy’s high school and threatened him in front of other students.

Documents filed in California federal court allege that Demirovic told the boy that she would “rip [his] f—ing heart out.” The boy had dated a girl connected to Demirovic for a few days in February that year.

Nearly five years later, Demirovic, who now lives in Brentwood, was charged in federal court Monday for two counts of conspiracy and cyberstalking in an effort to “sabotage the personal relationships, social reputation, academic life, and work prospects of the teenage victims,” per the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. She was arrested last Friday.
------------

The connection between Demirovic and the underage “co-conspirator” remains unclear, but it appears that their close ties motivated Demirovic to allegedly engage in a harassment campaign against three boys from 2016 to 2019.

---------

Soon after the initial incident, court documents allege Demirovic began targeting another boy who her “co-conspirator” dated for about two months. In August 2016, she allegedly sent a barrage of text messages, calling him an “awful human being” and telling him that she would file a false restraining order against him in an effort to affect his college applications.

Months later, Demirovic and the teen girl reportedly called the boy’s employer and school principal to falsely report claims of physical abuse, drug use and alcoholism. The principal prohibited Demirovic from entering the campus following the suspicious contact.

The onslaught of harassment against him continued on Instagram, the documents say. Demirovic, using “taunting” Instagram handles, reportedly teased the boy because his parents were divorced. A selection of the messages read: “Daddy left you so you have to be a f—kup,” “What a sad piece of s—t you are,” and “Do you cry every night because your daddy didn’t want you.”

poll: 71% of American agree with Chauvin verdict, 85% of dems, 55% of repubs, 71% of independents

Exclusive: Americans overwhelmingly approve of Chauvin guilty verdict, USA TODAY/Ipsos snap poll finds

WASHINGTON – In the hours after a guilty verdict was announced in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, an exclusive USA TODAY/Ipsos snap poll found Americans overwhelmingly approved of the jury's finding.

The survey found 71% of Americans agreed Chauvin was guilty, and most Americans surveyed followed at least some coverage of the three-week trial. When participants were identified by political affiliation, Democrats strongly concurred, at 85%, with Republicans at 55% and independents at 71%.

Sixty-two percent of those polled said they would accept the verdict and do nothing further like march or protest; 61% of Democrats and Republicans alike answered that way. About 16% said they would join rallies or protests in accepting the verdict, while a total of 12% said they rejected the verdict.

In describing this new Ipsos/USA Today poll, Ipsos’s Cliff Young said, “we find a rare moment of bipartisan consensus that George Floyd’s killing was a crime and consequences are justified.”

Ipsos surveyed 1,000 American adults online from all states.

Chauvin has a history of punishing people with smothering

'No sympathy' for Chauvin, say those who had run-ins before Floyd

----------

Skinaway says he was speaking with the officers about the recovery of a stolen car when Peet approached and did not comply with requests to back away. A police report about the incident states that a struggle ensued and Chauvin maced Peet, applied a neck restraint and pinned him to the ground so he could be handcuffed.

The incident was one of the six prior use-of-force incidents that Judge Peter Cahill blocked prosecutors from presenting at trial, ruling they would be prejudicial.

In court filings, prosecutors said Chauvin restrained Peet in a manner that was beyond what was necessary or reasonable - an assertion also made by Skinaway in interviews with Reuters.

Skinaway says Chauvin grabbed Peet by the back of his hair and pressed his face into a rain puddle. That began a cycle where Peet would gasp for air and say "I can't breathe, man" before Chauvin would force his head down again.

Skinaway said he saw similarities between Chauvin's treatment of Peet and Floyd.

"He basically did the same thing to that Native kid," Skinaway said. "I think the incident would have gone longer possibly if the ambulance didn't show up."

Mike Lindell just can't catch a break. Gets live prank called by someone pretending to be Trump

LOL.. for a few seconds, Mr. Pillow was soooo happy.

MyPillow Guy Thought He Was Speaking to Trump, Wasn't
Prank caller gets through to Mike Lindell during live telethon for his new social-media site

Mike Lindell just can't catch a break. Not only is the MyPillow founder being sued for $1.3 billion by Dominion Voting Systems and struggling to launch his social media site—now he's being prank-called, too. The Hill reports that on Monday, Lindell was hosting a live telethon to raise money for said site when he received a call from someone who said they had Donald Trump on the line. In video, Lindell can be seen with co-host Brannon Howse, leaning excitedly into the phone as a voice that sounds like Trump says on speakerphone, "Hello, everyone." A beaming Lindell notes, "We have the president here, our real president, everyone," followed by a greeting for the "president." That's when the prankster revealed himself, replying to Lindell in a British accent, "MacronShow.com, b----es!"

Lindell quickly hung up on the caller and said to viewers, "You see what they're doing, they're attacking us. ... They're hacking into our phones." TooFab notes that Ron Blackman, host of the Macron Show comedy podcast, claimed responsibility for the prank, speaking more with the Daily Beast about how it was part of a daylong "siege" on Lindell, in which he also pretended he was a reporter from the Wall Street Journal and Lindell's own son.

Bay Area grocery store owner 'flagrantly' price gouged customers at the start of the COVID pandemic

A Bay Area grocery store owner pled guilty last Wednesday to two counts of "flagrant" price gouging after officials found that items in the shop were marked up by up to 300%.

----------

One item, priced at $2.99 just two days before Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency on March 4, 2020, cost $4.99. Days later, it was raised to $7.

A produce item was marked up from 49 cents a pound to $1.99, a 306 percent markup, within the weeks before and after Newsom's declaration.

Thai hot chilis, Maggi noodles, loose teabags, yellow onions and pomegranates were among the items listed as part of the price gouging complaint.

The store, one shopper claimed, charged “whatever they want” in the days following the state of emergency.

“Witnesses reported prices being removed or crossed out on the shelves and employees telling them the prices are what they are when scanned at check out,” read the initial May complaint.

McEnany branded hypocrite for telling Biden words can inflame violence

McEnany branded hypocrite for telling Biden words can inflame violence as president comments on Chauvin trial

-------------

Closing arguments in the trial ended on Monday, and the jury was sequestered to deliberate on a verdict. Mr Biden then said that he was praying they reach the “right verdict”, which Ms McEnany apparently found offensive.

"I'm glad that he at least waited until the jury was sequestered," Ms McEnany ranted. “But I think that the country is such a tinderbox right now, especially Minneapolis. There's so much hurt, so much pain.”

“And I think it's the role of the president of the United States to stay back, to not inflame the tensions. I think he should have just reserved comment and said he's praying for the family as we all are.”

Ms McEnany's newfound sense of caution and empathy stand in stark contrast to her opinions during her time as Mr Trump's mouthpiece.

For example, Mr Trump defended Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot and killed two protesters during racial justice protests last year, and has been charged with two charges of first degree homicide and one count of attempted homicide, among others.

“He was trying to get away from them, I guess, it looks like,” Mr Trump said at the time. “I guess he was in very big trouble. He probably would have been killed.”
