Dear DEMS! Pay no attention to nay-sayers & people with agenda who wish our party ill!

It seems the new MEMO/MEME is that DEM Party is in trouble. (Actually meme is getting old due to desperate overuse)
MSM really wants to go with this memo meme.
GOP really would like to run with this meme memo.
Putin trolls/bots also running away with this gaslighting memo meme.
Heck even Donald is promulgating this memo meme or meme memo calling us the democrat party and saying we are in trouble.
Is the memo d'jour.

All of the above WISH we were in trouble.
They are gaslighting us. THEY ARE PROJECTING.
Plus it is a form of both parties are the same.
They have been able to suppress our voters and are afraid of us.
They don't like that our party has lots of diversity. Thus trying to control us & our narrative.

MY BALLAD TO DEMS

DEAR DEMS,

Pay no attention to nay-sayers & people with agendas who wish our party ill.
Our real task is to stop suppression. We got the numbers.
The future is in our hands. TOGETHER.
We together know all of this. Don't get gaslighted by people with agendas.

The only trouble DEMS need to contend with is voter suppression
(which MAGA by making ONLY WHITE VOTES while sending POC to the back of the bus.)
Plus we need to make sure Russia keeps out.
Other than that we are ready for 2018.

People telling us we got problems are gaslighting us and have an agenda to sabotage our party.
Anyone who says that the 2 parties are the same is lying & has an agenda.

People wish the DEM party was in trouble so they attack us, our party & our DEM figures & leaders.
They are not strong so seek to weaken us!
Our only problems are voter suppression (plus that eff up- Russian meddling/collusion last year).

Wondering why the Republicans desperately seek to suppress POC & DEMS from voting?
Because we got the numbers.

We got the numbers, why do you think the GOP is desperately suppressing our voters?
Why do you think the last 2 GOP presidents had to cheat to become prez?

Dear DEMS don't listen to people that speak of our party and us in the 3rd person.
With a tone of condemnation at the smallest slight
and lots of authoritarian phrases like DEMS Better do this,
& ready to give up at a moment's chance
or waste our time in endless fruitless disputes.

They give themselves away when they do that.
They are not our friends.
They want what we got.
We got the numbers.

Each of us makes our party battle-strong.
We are UNITED & READY.
We are the reason we are gonna KEEP THIS REPUBLIC.

We are strong & united already. We are Ready. We fight suppression, everything else is distraction & sabotage.
I always come back to these 2 questions: Does this person mean what they say & do they mean well?
FRIEND OR FOE?

BONUS: I like this recap of our DEM values!

16. Here is what Democrats stand for (per Margaret & Helen)

Here is what Democrats stand for. It’s not a secret.

Affordable healthcare for all. Period.
Common sense gun control because you don’t need an assault rifle to kill a deer.
Immigration reform.
Equal pay for equal work.
A woman can be trusted to make her own healthcare decisions.
Sex education reduces unintended pregnancies.
Love is color blind and gender neutral.
Global warming is not a Chinese hoax even though Trump has more chins than a Chinese phone book. (Was that racist or just a clever play on the word chin being Chen is the 5th most common Chinese surname? Actually it was a joke about Trump being a fatass which has nothing to do with global warming unless you count the amount of gas Trump releases from his fat ass daily. Surely there is a scientist who can tell us what harm that is causing. You know what? Never mind. Just get us back into the damn Paris Climate Agreement. That’s what I meant to say, really. )
Happy Holidays is a lovely thing to say to someone when you want them to have a Happy Holiday.
Every child should have access to a quality education.
College should be affordable.
Coal is stupid. (see Chen reference above)
Slavery was bad.
Nazi’s are not fine people.
Trump is a moron. (Which makes Rex Tillerson an honorary Democrat)

STATEMENT TO GOP LEADERSHIP: SUPPORT ROBERT MUELLER’S INVESTIGATION
BY NISKANEN CENTER

We are a group of citizens united by our deep concern over threats to the integrity of American democracy and the rule of law. With the indictments announced on Monday, the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference with the 2016 election is now entering a new and critical phase. At the same time, a growing chorus of Republican and conservative voices has started calling for Mueller’s resignation on trumped-up grounds, a move that may be calculated to help justify dismissal of the special counsel and pardons for his targets. In view of these events, we want to come forward and express our strong support for allowing the Mueller investigation to proceed without interference or obstruction. We would regard dismissal of the special counsel, or pardons issued preemptively to anyone targeted by his investigation, as a grave abuse of power that justifies initiation of impeachment proceedings.

We hereby call on House Speaker Ryan and Senate Majority Leader McConnell to make clear, both publicly and privately, that they support the Mueller investigation and regard any interference with that investigation, including dismissal of the special counsel or preemptive pardons of investigation targets, as completely unacceptable. We further urge all Republican members of Congress to issue public statements on these issues as well. It is morally imperative that the Republican Party and the conservative movement stand as bulwarks of the rule of law, not enablers of its erosion and violation. Now is the time for choosing.*

U.S. Prosecutors Consider Charging Russian Officials in DNC Hacking Case.

At least six Russian government officials are identified as part of ongoing investigation

SNIP/
The Justice Department has identified more than six members of the Russian government involved in hacking the Democratic National Committee’s computers and swiping sensitive information that became public during the 2016 presidential election, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Prosecutors and agents have assembled evidence to charge the Russian officials and could bring a case next year, these people said. Discussions about the case are in the early stages, they said.

If filed, the case would provide the clearest picture yet of the actors behind the DNC intrusion. U.S. intelligence agencies have attributed the attack to Russian intelligence services, but haven't provided detailed information about how they concluded those services were responsible, or any details about the individuals allegedly involved.

The high-profile hack of the DNC’s computers played a central role in the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment in January that “Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election.” Mr. Putin and the Russian government have denied meddling in the U.S. election.

Thousands of the DNC’s emails and other data, as well as emails from the personal account of John Podesta, who served as campaign chairman to 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, were made public by WikiLeaks last year.

Report: DOJ identifies 6 Russian officials behind DNC hack

Source: Axios

Shannon Vavra 49 mins ago

The Department of Justice has identified more than six members of the Russian government who were involved in hacking the Democratic National Committee's computers during the 2016 presidential election, the WSJ reports, citing "people familiar with the investigation."

Why it matters: These charges would specify who exactly was behind the DNC hack for the first time and although U.S. intelligence agencies have already attributed the hack to Russian intelligence, they did not provide details about who was involved specifically in trying to back Trump's campaign at the detriment of Hillary Clinton's.

Timing: Prosecutors may bring charges next year, although they have assembled evidence to bring charges already.

Caveat: Publicly announcing which Russian officials they're charging could make it difficult for them to travel and thus to actually arrest them.

Q: Do you think that Donald would start assassinating Americans or is this a line too far for him?

Maybe in 5th street in NY?

He admires dictators like Putin & others who kill people in their own countries.

He did not mind when Turkish diplomats kicked & beat some protesters in our land.

He wants to send someone in our land straight to Guantanamo to get executed yesterday.

A Shareblue reporter violently arrested for covering Gillespie even ACLU is commenting.

He is getting more & more desperate as Mueller closes in.

In the meantime he has criminally neglected Puerto Ricans plight after hurricane Maria.

And ready to use 'em nukes anytime now. Who knows what's stopped him.

Trump didn't dismiss idea when foreign policy adviser suggested setting up Putin meeting

Washington (CNN)Candidate Donald Trump did not dismiss the idea of arranging a meeting with Russia's president when it was suggested in a meeting with his campaign foreign policy advisers last year, according to a person in the room.

The idea was raised by George Papadopoulos as he introduced himself at a March 2016 meeting of the Republican candidate's foreign policy advisers, according to a court filing.
"He didn't say yes and he didn't say no," the official said, declining to be more specific about Trump's response to Papadopoulos.
But the chairman of Trump's national security team, then Alabama senator and now attorney general Jeff Sessions, shut down the idea of a Putin meeting at the March 31, 2016, gathering, according to the source. His reaction was confirmed with another source who had discussed Session's role.

In 2006, the year he reportedly began working for Deripaska, Manafort bought a condo in Trump Tower

In 2006, the year he reportedly began working for Deripaska, Manafort bought a condo in Trump Tower for $3,675,000 through an LLC called John Hannah. John is Manafort’s middle name, and Hannah is the middle name of that of his then-business partner, Rick Davis.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-aide-manafort-bought-new-york-homes-cash-n739796

Manafort's Indictment mentions year 2006 a lot:

38. From in or about and between 2006 and 2017, both dates being approximate and inclusive, in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, the defendants PAUL J. MANAFORT, JR., and RICHARD W. GATES III, together with others, knowingly and intentionally conspired to defraud the United States by impeding, impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful governmental functions of a government agency, namely the Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury, and to commit offenses against the United States, to wit, the violations of law charged in Counts Three through Six and Ten through Twelve.

Donald is a big part of Manafort's indictment even though not mentioned by name!

What to Watch for as Facebook, Twitter and Google Executives Testify on Capitol Hill

SNIP/

Here is what to watch for:

The problem was worse than reported

Facebook, Twitter and Google have been slow to acknowledge their significance in the Russian influence campaign. Right after the election, Facebook’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, scoffed at the idea that fake news on the site could have swayed public opinion ahead of the election.

It took months for the companies to launch their own investigations. In late September, Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said that information provided by Twitter and Facebook seemed to greatly underplay their problems.

In prepared remarks, Facebook said inflammatory posts by Russian agents intending to sow discord among Americans reached 126 million users. Google, whose information security director, Richard Salgado, will testify on Tuesday, said that the same agents, from the Kremlin-linked Internet Research Agency, uploaded over 1,000 videos on Google’s YouTube service. Twitter said they published more 131,000 messages on Twitter.

And they admitted they were wading into new territory.

How to watch Facebook, Google and Twitter testify to Congress about Russia and the 2016 election
The first of three hearings begins today.

Senior executives from Facebook, Google and Twitter will submit on Tuesday to the first of three grueling grillings before U.S. lawmakers who are investigating Russia’s suspected interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Kicking it off is the Senate Judiciary Committee’s top crime and terrorism panel, chaired by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham. The focus is on the extent to which Kremlin-backed agents and trolls sought to spread disinformation and extremist content on major social media platforms — and what, exactly, the U.S. Congress should do about it.

Representing Facebook at the hearing is Colin Stretch, the company’s general counsel; from Google it’ll be Rich Salgado, the search giant’s director of law enforcement and information security; and standing in for Twitter is Sean Edgett, the company’s acting general counsel.

The hearing officially begins at 2:30 pm ET/11:30 am PT, and you can watch live here. We’ll update this post with embedded video once it becomes available.

Lawmakers on two other committees — the House and Senate Intelligence Committees — will press tech executives at two back-to-back hearings beginning tomorrow morning.
