Looks like it lands in Chicago from Anchorage at 11:45am tomorrow. (Yesterday?)

These items supposedly arrived recently, like this morning or last night* and will be distributed by the CDC. Am I the only one who thinks we will never see them or they'll be on the black market in months after society collapses or fat Nixon and his merry band of grifters aka his son in law et. al. will take the donations and sell them for a profit. I'm feeling so jaded.

New Press release:
Governor Cooper Requests Small Business Administration Disaster Declaration to Aid COVID-19 Response
Request is first step to provide relief for the states business owners
RALEIGH
Mar 16, 2020
Governor Roy Cooper requested that the U.S. Small Business Administration grant a disaster declaration for business owners in North Carolina facing economic losses due to the new Coronavirus, COVID-19.
Im asking the SBA for assistance so we can get relief to help business owners in our state weather the economic impacts of COVID-19, said Governor Cooper. We know that the new Coronavirus is already impacting businesses and this financial assistance will help.
If granted, the declaration would provide disaster loans to impacted businesses to help fulfill financial obligations and operating expenses. The request is for assistance to affected businesses across the state.
On March 10, Governor Cooper issued Executive Order No. 116 declaring a State of Emergency for the State of North Carolina. The declaration activated the State Emergency Operations Center to help agencies coordinate the response to COVID-19. Governor Cooper also established the Governors Novel Coronavirus Task Force on COVID-19 to work with state, local and federal partners in responding to challenges posed by COVID-19.

United States Resource Availability for COVID-19
...snip
Supply of mechanical ventilators in U.S. acute care hospitals: Based on a 2009 survey of AHA hospitals, U.S. acute care hospitals are estimated to own approximately 62,000 full-featured mechanical ventilators.7 Approximately 46% of these can be used to ventilate pediatric and neonatal patients. Additionally, some hospitals keep older models for emergency purposes. Older models, which are not full featured but may provide basic functions, add an additional 98,738 ventilators to the U.S. supply.7 The older devices include 22,976 noninvasive ventilators, 32,668 automatic resuscitators, and 8,567 continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) units.
