Op/Ed: What's Really Going On In Detroit - The Paid Media Won't Tell: A Lifetime Detroiter Perspe...

Written By: Kenneth Reed - A Lifetime Detroit, Michigan Resident

"I've watched the events unfold in this City over the weekend, and watched the Police Chief posture in front of the various media outlet cameras. In all of this, it occurred to me that Chief Craig in spite of what he has said repeatedly does not have any answers. He doesn't have a handle on the crime problem in Detroit.

I was at a 13th Congressional District Meeting Saturday where he appeared to make a presentation. In the process of addressing the Precinct Delegates he really didn't come across as someone who had a plan to deal with criminal activity. As you can probably determine at this point, he doesn't excite me at all.

After the meeting the events unfolded on Dexter & Webb, and people are asking why are these things happening, then later that evening the 1st shooting in Greektown happened. This is a culmination of 20 yrs. of stripping the City of Detroit of it's pride, self determination, and drive to succeed against all odds.

First there was the elimination of "Revenue Share Money" From the State of Michigan, then the elimination of the residency requirements for city workers that further stripped the tax base. Then came the 1st Takeover of (Detroit Public Schools) DPS in 1999.

The next action was when the people fought to return the management of Public Education to the People, the elected board hired an incompetent Superintendent Connie K. Calloway.

Next the neighborhood school closings were accelerated, thus causing the emptying of those neighborhoods. Then the same School Board surrendered their oversight of the School District to a Democratic Governor who appointed an emergency manager.

Then Rick Sniper became Governor and started picking us off even quicker, and established the (Educational Achievement Authority) EAA called our Children the dumbest 5% in the state."

She Did It: South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley Calls for Removal of Confederate Flag

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in a Monday, June 21 afternoon press conference says the Confederate flag should be removed from the grounds of the state capitol. Haley by calling for the divisive symbol removal reverses her initial position to keep the flag, amid growing calls for it to be removed.

“Today we are here in a moment of unity in our state, without ill will, to say it’s time to move the flag from the Capitol grounds,” Haley said to applause. “My hope is that by removing a symbol that divides us, we can move forward in harmony and honor the nine blessed souls that are now in heaven,” she said.

FBI director: Charleston shooting not an act of terrorism

Source: ABC3340.com - Central Alabama News

FBI director James Comey said Friday that while his agency is investigating the murder of nine people in Charleston, S.C. as a hate crime, it is not an act of terrorism.

He said due to the lack of political motivation for his actions, alleged shooter Dylann Roof is not a domestic terrorist.

"Terrorism is act of violence done or threatens to in order to try to influence a public body or citizenry so it's more of a political act and again based on what I know so more I don't see it as a political act. Doesn't make it any less horrific the label but terrorism has a definition under federal law," he said during a visit to Baltimore.

Nikki Haley CAN TAKE DOWN THE FLAG!

It's called an Executive Order. Any Governor in America's 50 States has the Right to Issue an Executive Order, regardless to what the state law says. In fact, in clear defiance of State Law to be exact.

"Executive orders as issued by the governor are not laws, but do have the same binding nature. Executive orders are usually based on existing constitutional or statutory powers of the Governor and do not require any action by the state legislature to take effect. Executive orders are numbered sequentially for a calendar year and may address agency closings due to inclement weather, may call the legislature into special session, may address county or city officials who have violated their elected positions."

http://dc.statelibrary.sc.gov/handle/10827/22

Furthermore, Section 15, Article VI - Executive Department of the South Carolina Constitution States:

SECTION 15. Faithful execution of laws.

The Governor shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed. To this end, the Attorney General shall assist and represent the Governor, but such power shall not be construed to authorize any action or proceeding against the General Assembly or the Supreme Court. (1972 (57) 3171; 1973 (58) 48.)
http://www.scstatehouse.gov/scconstitution/a04.php

The key term here is "Take Care". That does not mean the Executive Authority in South Carolina must COMPLY. That is a different word all together.

Now let's review what the South Carolina Constitution says about Executive Orders:

It does not say anything in the exact words of "Executive Order".

Instead, what the South Carolina Constitution does say is the following in Section 1, Article VI - Chief Magistrate:

SECTION 1. Chief Magistrate.
The supreme executive authority of this State shall be vested in a Chief Magistrate, who shall be styled
"The Governor of the State of South Carolina." (1972 (57) 3171; 1973 (58) 48.)
http://www.scstatehouse.gov/scconstitution/a04.php

What is a Chief Magistrate?
"The head of the executive department of government of a nation, state, or municipal corporation. Mclntire v. Ward. 3 Yeates (Pa.) 424."
http://thelawdictionary.org/chief-magistrate/

Nikki Haley has issued 86 Executive Orders by her Duty as Chief Magistrate of the State of South Carolina since 2011. Nikki Haley has the authority needed, necessary and required to order a removal of South Carolina's Confederate Flag, in light of the Tragic Deaths of Nine Emanuel African Episodical Methodist deaths by the Hands of Domestic "Hate Crime" Terrorist Dylann Roof on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

NAACP Imposter Sued School Over Race Claims

Let's start by saying this: Suing Howard University in the African-American community is like Suing Yale, Harvard, Berkeley or Northwestern in the Caucasian community. In other words: One better have a darn good case for doing so.

It's not that anyone of these schools can't be sued - as that is another matter entirely.

However, to sue a Historical Black College & University (especially one that is so HIGHLY REGARDED in the African-American community as Howard U) due to discrimination for ones' "Whiteness" and later claim you're "Black" takes the Rachel's Ruse story to another level.

Beyond mental illness, beyond "feeling sorry" beyond any false claims of being "Trans-racial" to the conning nature of what it is.

From the Smoking Gun:

"JUNE 15--The NAACP official who today resigned in the face of evidence that she masqueraded as black once sued Howard University for denying her teaching posts and a scholarship because she was a white woman, The Smoking Gun has learned.

Rachel Dolezal, 37, who headed the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington chapter, sued Howard for discrimination in 2002, the year she graduated from the historically black college with a Master of Fine Arts degree.

Dolezal, then known as Rachel Moore, named the university and Professor Alfred Smith as defendants in a lawsuit filed in Washington, D.C.’s Superior Court. During the pendency of the civil case, Smith was chairman of Howard’s Department of Art.

According to a Court of Appeals opinion, Dolezal's lawsuit “claimed discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” She alleged that Smith and other school officials improperly blocked her appointment to a teaching assistant post, rejected her application for a post-graduate instructorship, and denied her scholarship aid while she was a student.

The court opinion also noted that Dolezal claimed that the university’s decision to remove some of her artworks from a February 2001 student exhibition was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students over” her.

As detailed in the court opinion, Dolezal’s lawsuit contended that Howard was “permeated with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule, and insult.”

Judge Zoe Bush dismissed Dolezal’s complaint in February 2004, 18 months after the lawsuit was filed and Dolezal was deposed on several occasions. Bush found no evidence that Dolezal was discriminated on the basis of race or other factors. The D.C. Court of Appeals subsequently affirmed Bush’s decision.

Following the dismissal of Dolezal’s lawsuit (and the Court of Appeals decision), she was ordered to reimburse Howard for a “Bill of Costs” totaling $2728.50. During the case, she was also ordered to pay the university nearly $1000 in connection with an “obstructive and vexatious” court filing that sought to improperly delay her examination by an independent doctor.

Dolezal’s lawsuit, included “claims for medical and emotional distress damages,” according to a court docket."

Disconnection & Bravery: Why Rachel Dolezal Parents Where Right To Expose The Ruse

"To deny the existence of ones birth parents is not only a travesty, but equally constitute an action which unless grave family dynamics exist, frankly should not be done. Birth parent(s) are humans making an conscious choice to extend the miracle of life to another person.

There are unique differences between denial and non-communication.

Many personal family based situations cause the morphing to an route of Non-Communication with a persons' birth parents. Circumstances such as betrayal, incest, abandonment or other deep emotional pain only personal experience can suffice. However, denial is an entire other category in itself.

As to deny existence of birth parents cuts off ones true history, roots and genealogy background.

Furthermore, disconnection from other family members who are not at fault for the physical and psychological shriving of ties, amount to an action equality wrong in nature.

To be frank, as the saying goes, "Two wrongs don't make a right."

The game: deny family, get a tan, wear wigs and braids, adopt a "Black" Father and of course reap any benefits that could have went to a deserving African-American person for herself.

Affirmative Action in reverse, to say the very least.

Ezra Dolezal says he didn't know how to respond the day his adopted sister took him aside and asked him "not to blow her cover" about having a black father.

On that day three years ago, he said, Rachel Dolezal, 37, told him she was starting life anew in Spokane, Washington, where she's now head of the local chapter of the NAACP and chairwoman of a police oversight committee.

Ezra Dolezal, 22, came to visit her from Montana, where their parents live. His adopted sister was on her way to becoming one of the most prominent faces in Spokane's black community.

"She told me not to blow her cover about the fact that she had this secret life or alternate identity," Ezra Dolezal said Saturday. "She told me not to tell anybody about Montana or her family over there. She said she was starting a new life ... and this one person over there was actually going to be her black father," said Ezra Dolezal to CNN on June 14.

Erza Dolezal, who is African-American and Caucasian and the adopted Brother of Rachel, described exactly what he believes was his Sister's true intention in the ruse.

"There was the gradual darkening of the skin and the hair," he said. "She started molding herself into who she is today," Erza Dolezal said to CNN.

He said Dolezal's transformation was tantamount to living in "blackface."

"It's kind of a slap in the face to African-Americans because she doesn't know what it's like to be black," said Ezra Dolezal, whose biological mother was white and father half-black. "She's only been African-American when it benefited her. She hasn't been through all the struggles. She's only been African-American the last few years."
