A third person has died this week in Argentina from a type of pneumonia of unknown origin, with the fatalities thus far limited to a single clinic, health authorities said Thursday.
Nine people in northwestern Tucuman province have come down with a mysterious respiratory illness, including eight medical staff at the private clinic, Tucuman health minister Luis Medina Ruiz told reporters.
Three people two health care workers and now also a patient at the clinic have died since Monday.
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the regional office of the World Health Organization, is in contact with the Argentina Ministry of Health as they investigate the cluster of cases, PAHO said in a statement.

At his first rally since the FBIs raid on Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump took aim at President Joe Biden and the Democrats recent warnings about MAGA Republicans.
Speaking to supporters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Saturday, the former president addressed Bidens primetime speech by deeming it the most vicious, hateful, and divisive speech ever delivered by a [U.S.] president.
Trump claimed Biden was vilifying 75 million citizens, plus another probably 75 to 150 [million], if we want to be accurate about it, as threats to democracy and as enemies of the state.
Youre all enemies of the state, he told the crowd to boos against Biden. Hes an enemy of the state if you want to know the truth. The enemy of the state is him and the group that control him, which is circling around him. Do this, do that, Joe.'
Trump railed against the speech further, saying it was nothing but hatred and anger from the president. He also noted the red background for the speech, which numerous critics have mocked and criticized.

Living in a city with no water: 'This is unbearable'
JACKSON, Miss. What stood out this week was the calm. The streets were quiet, and residents queued expectantly for resources.
The entire city of more than 150,000 was without safe drinking water, with no end in sight. Many residents here say they adapted long ago to catastrophic government failure.
Jacksons waters been messed up; I dont even feel like they should be issuing people bills, said Roshonda Snell, 32, who works at a local hotel. Its infected, and you cant even do nothing with it.
Snell is a beneficiary of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and says she has been using most of the money she receives from it to buy water for her family for a while. I spend about $200 on bottled water every month. Thats mainly what I use that money for, to buy five big cases of water for the month, said Snell, a Jackson native. I really want to leave Jackson so bad.
The water system in Jackson, the Mississippi capital, has been failing for years. In 2021, a harsh winter storm knocked the system out for a month. Even when water is flowing from the taps, residents struggle with intermittent boil-water advisories and high bills for water that is not always safe to drink. This week, in part because of severe floods, the treatment plant failed completely, leaving the citys residents without water to drink, bathe or even flush toilets.
Gov. Tate Reeves (R) declared Jacksons ongoing water crisis an immediate health threat. Experts say this crisis was years in the making, a result of inadequate funding for essential infrastructure upgrades. For the past year, leaders of this majority-Black, Democrat-led city have pushed for additional funding from the White Republicans who run the state. Little has come of those appeals.

Raped 12-Year-Old Could Take an Ambulance to Walmart for Plan B, SC Representative Says
Representative Doug Gilliam from South Carolina has enraged critics with his recent comments on a theoretical 12-year-old rape and incest victim. Responding in court to SC Republican Gil Gatchs statement that a hypothetical child victim who had been impregnated by her father would be forced to carry a pregnancy under the abortion ban, Gilliam responded that she had choices... the morning after pill was available... thats available in Walmart. If her dad rapes her and shes carrying the child, who drives her to get the morning after pill? Gatch asked Gilliam. The ambulance, Gilliam said. On Tuesday, South Carolina has passed a near-total abortion ban that doesnt allow children whore rape victims to get abortions at up to 20 weeks.

I've been thinking about trying gummies to take the edge off bad anxiety days but wanted to know first if anyone has experience taking it along with standard meds? How did it work for you?
