I'm sure this will shock some of you but thought I would let you all know, that yesterday I volunteered for the vaccine trials for Covid-19, here in California. The vaccine is one that was created in Russia.
I received my first shot yesterday at 4:00 pm, and I wanted to let you all know that it’s completely safe, with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and that I feelsh?? ?o?osh?́ я чувствую себя немного странно и я думаю, что вытащил ослиные уши
***What happened to our Submissions?***
We started off so strongly, and I was thrilled and amazed.
But now, the "normal" pattern has returned and our submissions are zero for this weekend (so far).
We need more, and we need them ASAP.
Let's get this moving, once again!
Virus Observations: Enjoy!
- I was so bored I called Jake from State Farm just to talk to someone. He asked me what I was wearing…
- The world has turned upside down. Old folks are sneaking out of the house, and their kids are yelling at them to stay indoors!
- This virus has done what no woman has been able to do … cancel all sports, shut down all bars, and keep men at home!!!
- Do not call the police on suspicious people in your neighborhood! Those are your neighbors without makeup and hair extensions.
- Day 7 at home and the dog is looking at me like, “See? This is why I chew the furniture!”
- Does anyone know if we can take showers yet or should we just keep washing our hands???
- I never thought the comment “I wouldn't touch him/her with a 6 foot pole” would become a national policy, but here we are
- I swear my fridge just said “what the hell do you want now?”
- When this is over … what meeting do I attend first … Weight Watchers or AA?
- Quarantine has turned us into dogs; We roam the house all day looking for food. We are told “no” if we get too close to strangers, and we get really excited about car rides.

This is the official thread for the posting of your amazing photographs that depict how you see Summer. The only limit is your imagination!
Is summer about weather, or picnics, or other activities in the great outdoors? YES. Also, any holidays that happen in the summer. As I said, your imagination is given free play here.
I'll leave it open for about a week, depending on the numbers of entries. It would be amazing to get 30 original photos! If we need to allow a second entry, I will post a separate thread to announce that.
Important bits from the RULES! There will be no extra rules on the Seasonal Contest beyond keeping your entry no larger than 1024 pixels in its longest dimension and under 675K in file size and limit photo editing to a reasonable amount. We would prefer your photo look like a photograph instead of a digital design. If you aren’t sure, ask the group in a separate thread. You’ll get plenty of feedback to specific questions. If you need help posting a photograph or with image sizing, just ask.
