We Can't Just Run Against Trump.....

We need to run against the Repugs. It almost seems like Trump is running interference for the Repugs and Moscow Mitch and his band of Trump toadies behind the scenes are up to no good all by themselves. Case in point - judges. And look at all the Dem House Bills that are sitting on Moscow Mitch's desk.

We have to make sure that - up and down the ticket - the Repugs lose. We need to maintain the House. Win the Senate. And send Trump to jail.

Has Tammy Duckworth Delivered A Speech At The Dem Convention Yet?

If not - here's what she should do. She should direct her comments to and talk directly to the current military and the veterans and ask them how they can support Trump as their Commander and Chief given how he's treated them over the last 3 3/4 years. She should make an attempt to carve away their votes and diminish that base support that helped him in 2016. Here are just some of the instances where Trump has already lost some base support of veterans and the current military. She should point out some of the following:

- Using the military to attack American People that were peacefully protesting is just one of those things that Trump did that took him down notches in the eyes of the military.

- Trump not taking on Putin for the 'bounties for American Soldiers' hasn't helped Trump either.

- Firing the commander of that ship that criticized Trump's handling of the Covid outbreak on his ship.

I'm sure that there are many other examples where Trump has lost military support. These to me were the most egregious.

Yesterday Esper was talking about cutting Military Healthcare by $2.2 billion as well - though Trump said he rejected that cut. The problem is I wouldn't trust anything Trump says. He is saying things now that he doesn't mean only to get re-elected. If he does get re-elected - all bets are off and this Military Healthcare cut will probably be dropped back on the table.

The biggest thing she should speak to them about is Trump's intention to cheat and steal the vote in November. These veterans and military took/take an oath to serve and protect our country and they have fought and many have died to maintain our Right To Vote.

She should ask them - How can you vote or support a man that is bent on cheating and taking away American's Right To Vote? This is what you fought for or fight for.

Again - I think Tammy Duckworth should direct her comments right at the veterans and current military and appeal to their patriotism and tell them why they should support Biden versus the criminal and liar Trump.

Right now everything that Trump does or says is done to make it seem like he really cares about the military. We all know that Trump only cares about himself. Trump in these last few months before the November election is trolling for military votes. He's been told that his military support is waning and he will do and say whatever if he thinks he could stop the bleeding of support.

Appeal to their patriotism. Tell them they have fought and many have died to protect the American People's right to vote. Ask them - do they really want to support a cheater and liar who is against everything they as military took the oath for?

We All Know What's Gonna Happen With The Repug Convention......

Trump - watching tonight's Dem Convention and seeing how successful it came off and all the accolades that are being given to this event - is probably seething with anger because it came off so good.

Right now he's probably on the phone with the organizers of the Repug Convention telling them they got to make the Repug Convention come off 'tremendously better' than the Dems and telling them what they need to do in order to make that happen in order to please him.

Trump - being the TV genius he is - will start providing them with his twisted ideas - and how the focus needs to be on him - Trump. He'll tell them they need to make him the star of the Repug Convention and give them tips as to how to do that.

So what is going to happen? Like they always do the Repugs will over-react; over produce and go overboard in trying to please Trump and they will fail miserably with their production.

They will have a hard time finding speakers and celebrities that could talk up Trump to the extent that he wants to be talked up - and the ones that they do find will be D-Lister's and not have any impact on the American Public. They're going to have to rely heavily on the Trump family - and you know how well the Trump family goes over with the American People.

And heaven forbid they try and rely on Trump's supporters. Can you imagine the menagerie of 'deplorables' that they'll parade across the screen?

The Repug talking heads will have a hard time trying to put a positive spin on this turd of a production - and the Repug Convention will come off getting the ratings of Trump's inauguration (and that biggest crowd ever to attend) - in D.C..

The Bulk Of The Losses That USPS Is Experiencing Are Related To Pension Requirements Imposed.....

on the USPS by the Repugs passed in 2006, requiring funding up to 2056.

They made USPS the only agency required to fund pensions for this period. This is very expensive and unusual proposition - as most government agencies don't generate much revenue and really haven't been set up in the first place to make a profit. In addition, the funding required in the first 10 years of this pension requirement was also much larger than a normal amortization would call for. It was intended to sink the USPS as quickly as possible.

The whole concept of pointing out a "loss" by the post office is bogus to begin with - but it creates the narrative that the Repugs and Trump want to convey.

Note that the post office is also in the constitution, so they can't get rid of it entirely - but there's a pension fund to loot, that's what the Repugs are after.

This whole thing was part of their plan to raid the pension fund; privatize USPS so whoever holds the reigns (not the People of course) will drive whatever profits they can; make it so they can control the flow of communication between people for whatever reason they require. This is just a giant 'money grab' by the Repugs.

So the Repugs actually have been trying to crash the USPS for a long time now and I think that they are having Trump do this for them now before he is out of office Jan 20 2021. I believe they know he is going to lose so they had to accelerate this plan. The pandemic actually helped their plan because it has caused even further losses for USPS due to the a slowdown in mail usage during this shut down of our country and thus the economy.

This is one of the Repugs last asks of Trump before he is out of office as president. They are using Trump as a foil to take the blame for this even though it was their intention to crash the USPS in the first place.

We know that the Repugs were up to this for a long time now and I want to know why the main stream media is not talking about this action by the Repugs and why they are letting Trump get away with talking about this big loss by USPS - which has operated efficiently for decades - but was only put in this loss situation by the Repugs back in 2006.

Why isn't the MSM talking about the Repugs desire to purposely crash the USPS with this pension fund requirement? Why are they neglecting to tell the American People the real story?

The Repugs benefit because they succeed in destroying the USPS and their desire to privatize it. Trump benefits because he uses this as his way of suppressing the vote and cheating to win re-election in November. And we the American People lose.
