TreasonousBastard's JournalOK, maybe Cuomo's got to go after all
But not because he's handsy, it's because he lied.

After the state attorney general revealed earlier this year that thousands of deaths of nursing home residents had been undercounted, Mr. Cuomo finally released the complete data, saying he had withheld it out of concern that the Trump administration might pursue a politically motivated inquiry into the states handling of the outbreak in nursing homes.
But Mr. Cuomo and his aides actually began concealing the numbers months earlier, as his aides were battling their own top health officials, and well before requests for data arrived from federal authorities, according to documents and interviews with six people with direct knowledge of the discussions, who requested anonymity to describe the closed-door debates.
The central role played by the governors top aides reflected the lengths to which Mr. Cuomo has gone in the middle of a deadly pandemic to control data, brush aside public health expertise and bolster his position as a national leader in the fight against the coronavirus.
As the nursing home report was being written, the New York State Health Departments data contained in a chart reviewed by The Times that was included in a draft put the death toll roughly 50 percent higher than the figure then being cited publicly by the Cuomo administration.
9 months for a killing?

CENTRAL ISLIP, Long Island (WABC) -- The woman who ran over and killed an anti-gang activist whose daughter was murdered by MS-13 on Long Island was sentenced to nine months in prison Thursday.
Ann Marie Drago was convicted of criminally negligent homicide, petit larceny, and criminal mischief in the September 2018 death of Evelyn Rodriguez, who was struck and killed while setting up a memorial in Brentwood to mark the second anniversary of her 16-year-old daughter Kayla Cuevas' murder.
OK, maybe not premeditated, but not good. Not good at all.
Snopes checked AOC's claim Danish McDonald's paying over 20 bucks an hour...
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/mcdonalds-workers-denmark/There is no minimum wage there, but there is a pretty good union
The 3F union rep told us that agreements are renewed every few years. The most recent agreement from 2020 has McDonalds employees over the age of 18 earning a minimum of DKK 127,24 (about $20.59) per hour, with a slight increase in 2021 (DKK 129,74 or about $21 per hour) and 2022 (DKK 132,24 or $21.40).
And everyone gets 5 weeks vacation by law. McD's employees get an extra week.
And, about prices?
Magic, right?
Get out of Jail Free card for driving into protestors

The bill would shield drivers from criminal prosecution, but only if they somehow exercises due caution while ramming into a crowd of soft fragile human bodies.
...
Lawmakers discussed the bill in a criminal justice subcommittee meeting. Representative Bruce Griffey, who co-sponsored the bill, said he wanted stronger language to protect people trying to drive away from protests.
Maybe [we] add a provision if someone is trying to flee the situation to avoid the life threatening situation and they happen to hurt someone in the course of fleeing, Griffey said.
That sounds completely reasonable, right? Its really the additional language in the bill that would bump up blocking streets as a form of protest from a misdemeanor to a felony that makes all that unintentionally language seem like a real wink and a nod to those who would do harm to protesters. Such bills are almost always equal parts harsher punishments for protesters and more protections for drivers, like Oklahomas, which would make blocking a road a felony punishable by two years and make it harder for protesters to be released from jail.
Schvieks! Yesterday in the 40s with light rain. Last night in the 30s with winds gusting to 45...
Today going down to the 20s, with wind still gusting.
Radio said wind chill below 0.
Listening to an interview with Spike Lee on Fresh Air...
Lotsa good stuff, but I almost fell off the couch when he talked about several times the studio suits brought some black guys from the mailroom to sit in the meeting. He's sure they never knew he was on to them, but he played the game.
Ended the interview with "I trust Joe and my sister from Howard to do the right thing."
Just got a call from the VA and scheduled a Covid shot for Saturday...

Anybody know what is this banana fly that invaded my kitchen?
No pix-- can't deal with a macro setup right now.
But, what happened is I bought some bananas that were in a plastic bag. When I got them home and opened the bag, tiny flies flew out. Really tiny-- not much bigger than the period at the end of this sentence. I found them taking up residence in the kitchen garbage bag and managed to trap most of them and toss them out.
There were hundreds of them, more than were originally in the banana bag, which leads me to think they have breeding cycle of maybe minutes. An hour at most. Like tribbles, they are born pregnant.
This is not the first time this has happened. Anybody have any idea what this bug is?
Just got an email from Desantis bragging about being the first governor to fight Silicon Valley...
and, of course, begging for money. (Somehow getting on these rightwing email lists brings the strangest things.)
He is upset about Twitter banning Trump and fellow travelers.
I am the #1 enemy of Silicon Valley because I wont let the Big Tech cartel walk all over conservatives without punching back twice as hard.
These social media platforms have played an increasingly decisive role in our elections and have negatively impacted Americans who dissent from their agenda. Thats why Im taking action and becoming the first Republican governor to crack down on Big Tech, with legislation that will take on the monopoly of communications platforms that have sought to monitor and control us.
With that being said, I cant do this alone ? We need to fight back.
The Transparency in Technology Act will fight back against these far-left CEOs by letting users opt-out of their shady post-promoting, shadow-banning algorithms, imposing fines when they suspend political candidates like they did with Donald Trump, and much more.
There is more, but you get the drift.
