Restaurants are opening up with masks & gloves for servers.. at least I saw Kauai Beer Co was open when I walked by it on Friday.. and hopefully no visitors get in with the CV to spread it. I don't think so because of the strict guidelines.

I have tried. But when I saw the president unleashing uniformed police to use tear gas, pepper spray, concussion grenades, and raw physical violence to disperse peaceful protestors from a church, in order to stand on that sacred ground and raise a Bible in his hand for a perverse photo op—a photo op!—when I saw that, I had had enough.

I like Eliot Engel.. Pelosi backs Engel ahead of tight New York primary

Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered a full-throated endorsement for Rep. Eliot Engel, her support coming as the embattled New York Democrat faces off against a competitive primary challenger later this month.

Pelosi’s backing comes after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday night waded into the race to throw her weight behind Engel’s challenger, Jamaal Bowman. Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement of Engel’s challenger is particularly notable considering her influence on the left and the fact that the two represent neighboring districts both covering the Bronx.

“I firmly support Eliot Engel for Congress and I support Alexandria for Congress as well,” Pelosi told reporters Thursday. “I think the people of New York are very blessed to have them both in the Congress.
