I've been wrestling with this since 2015.

It’s damn hard to find any sympathy for these individuals. And I am still trying to. But I’m not having an easy time with it.

Shit. We WARNED them. We WARNED AND WARNED. And WARNED some MORE!

And we had facts. And we had his track record - with business. Screwing his contractors and subcontractors and misrepresenting all over everywhere.
With women. Vulgar statements, jokes, and sexual predation.
With HONESTY. Hiding his financials and lying about it. Lying about EVERYTHING, for that matter. The “fake news” - when HE’S the one who’s a 100% pure FRAUD.
With racism and jingoism. Making the both-sides is excuses and yowling about building his wall and lying about how horrible people who don’t look like you are.
And with the Russians. Lying about that, too, while the Russian infestation STILL rages on, to this day and this TRAITOR has done nothing about it. NOTHING has been or is being done to stop them - because he benefits from this infestation!
And the list goes on. And on. And ON!

And these marks - and yes. That’s what most, if not all, of his lower-income base is. They’re marks. Targets. Who the CON man can CON from one side of the room to the other, exploiting their fears and resentments to benefit himself, not them. They fall for the slick talk and the TV celebrity gloss and glitter and the repetitive sales pitches. They fall for it all, despite being warned. And warned. And warned some more.

The truth is out there. It was during the campaign. It was during the transition. It was when he took over. And it still is, to this very hour. But they won’t see it or acknowledge it as long as it hurts somebody else.

But now that it’s ringing THEIR doorbell, well now, that’s different!

Bittersweet. Personal pain but a larger sense of satisfaction at the same time. I both loved it and hated it when the hatchlings in our little front entry nest would grow big enough to leave. You hope like hell they thrive and they make it, but you dread the day they do.

Yes. Impeach.

For justice.

And for the history books.

AND for the “cautionary tale” effect. It’d be there to warn future scumbucket or cheater or otherwise illegitimate pResidents who might be tempted to flout the law or place themselves above it.

We CANNOT afford to let this bastard get away with it. We HAVE TO leave a mark. A mark on his name, a mark on his “brand”, a mark on his “legacy”, and a mark on his so-called “pResidency”.

Well, then, the list of helpers will just grow right along with it.

These bastards are always defying what they think are restrictions on them. They’re always look g for ways to “get around” the rules. So why shouldn’t we, too?

If they can do, WE can do it.

Even Mr. Rogers recommended this kind of approach. Remember, it was he who quoted the advice that I think his mom gave him long ago, for when things go wrong: “look for the helpers.”
