Hmmm ... MOST interesting.

Most interesting indeed!

They sure do...

Awwwwwww... I'n so sorry. Been there and suffered that.

My husband calls it “looking for the river.” We’ve had a few cats who did that. Crawling in behind the commode in the bathroom and hunkering down. They were weak and tired and depleted by then. They weren’t getting better, no matter how we tried or what we tried. We finally had to take each of them to the vet - for “that one last time”…

Heartbreaking. You love ‘em and they grow and get old and eventually start heading downhill toward failing.

I know that heartbreak all too much.

So hard to say and hard to do, but when that dreadful day comes, try to think that you’re ending the suffering of a dear little friend, and sending your kitty to the Rainbow Bridge where lots of new friends are there already. And your little sweetheart will be giving you a last gift: creating a new opening to give a loving home to a new little one who needs it.

We have three young cats. But as I write this, my heart aches to think that’ll eventually be what we’ll face, yet again.

Your little love will be releasing you to eventually rescue a new little one in need of love and confort exactly like yours. Just as you did with this one.

You know what else I like?

Light switches. You flick it on. You flick it off.

But start throwing in voice command and 100-twenty-seven million different choices and options and modifications and colors and …

And you just lose me.

But I’m writing this on my iPhone and I have a laptop too. So I’ve got a couple of toes inside the new age. But not much more. And I dread the day I have to get a new car - and have to start figuring out the advanced technology.

I’m lucky, though. At least for now. My husband is happy to be my translator.

That works for me.

CONSEQUENCES.

Turn him into a one-man cautionary tale to ANYBODY ELSE considering both flagrant and subtle sedition.

Maybe because he's flown under the radar all this time?

And they’ve had other fish to fry?

Get him the way they got Al Capone. Tax evasion.

Make it so!!!

You're not alone, LoisB!

I’m right there with ya!

But then again, I still like pen ‘n’ paper!

Yikes! I hope you continue to do well, health-wise!

That must have been scary!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
