If you were Donald Trump, where would you hide any remaining documents you might have?

Since he doesn't trust anyone, it would have to be somewhere close to him so he could control the situation.

First guess would be the Bedminster Golf Club or the Trump Tower.

If he was going to hide the documents in either of those places, it might be in the living quarters of Melania. He doesn't believe they would get a search warrant for her place. But that is the most likely place any documents missing would be hidden, in my opinion.

I suspect if nothing is resolved in the next few days about the "missing documents" from the empty folders, there may be another search warrant ready to go?

What a fool believes..

It is OK to attack the Capitol, the symbol of our country, and to attempt to over-throw the government.

Because the world's worst liar said they were cheated and they believed him because everyone else was "fake news".

Then say that they did nothing wrong and they should never have been charged with any crimes and that they should be pardoned.

That the 81 million people who voted for the other guy are somehow inferior to them and their 75 million voters.

Because they are liberals and Democrats.

That it is OK to steal the top secrets of this country because their Leader said he "de-classified" them, as if that somehow diminishes the risk to the rest of America and the world.

And that it is no worse than what Hillary did and what Hunter Biden had on his laptop.

That he is the only one that tells them the truth and it's really no big deal.

A fool believes all those things and more.

How is it that a person can steal America's secrets, commit espionage, and attempt a coup...?

...and incite a riot that has the US Congress running for their lives, and still commands the credibility to be invited to a rally for a Senate candidate in PA and spoken about on the media as "maybe the next President of this country"?

Without the lies of Benedict Donald, there would have been no alleged voter fraud...

There would have been no "Stop the Steal" march on Washington.

There would have been no riot on January 6th and no attack upon our Capitol.

There would have been no one in jail for sedition and conspiracy.

There would have been no DoJ investigation for the attempted coup upon our government.

The cult would have done nothing without the urging of their Leader, Benedict Donald.

None of this would have transpired without the conspiratorial and treasonous thoughts of the Cult Leader.

A fish rots from the head first.

Let us not overlook those facts.

In Wall St Journal poll, 41% think Mar-a-Lago search warrant was a "witch hunt"

What percent of that 41% would be willing to take a Loyalty Oath to Herr Leader?

I imagine it would be similar to the former German Leader's?

It is surprising after all this information has come out, including on FOX News, that so many still believe it is "fake news" or a "witch hunt".

Even if Donald Trump is imprisoned for espionage, they will not believe he is in jail. QAnon would say that he is only hiding out in a secret place waiting to make his comeback and take over the White House.

He's too smart to be caught committing a crime...

The Saudis were the guests at Bedminster on August 2nd.

Why Trump did not turn over the documents before the search warrant of August 8th is a puzzling question?

Could it be that he was saving some of the documents for his friends who were coming to Bedminster on the first of August? And he could not give them up because he had already been paid for them, thru his intermediary, his son-in-law?

The timeline:

January 20, 2021: President Biden is inaugurated, and former President Trump departs the White House without notifying the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) that he has removed several presidential records, including highly classified material.

May 2021: NARA informs Trump that a number of official documents have not been transferred to its custody. NARA and Trump’s representatives negotiate the return of some of these documents in the ensuing months.

January 17, 2022: Trump turns over some 15 boxes of documents to NARA, some of which the agency says “had been torn up by former President Trump” and including some that “had not been reconstructed by the White House.”

February 2022: NARA alerts the DOJ that some records remain missing and that some of those recovered are highly classified, reportedly including information on need-to-know special access programs. (see below)

Spring 2022: The DOJ issues a subpoena to Trump for the missing documents.

June 3, 2022: The DOJ’s top counterintelligence officer travels to Mar-a-Lago to collect documents as part of the subpoena.* Former President Trump’s lawyers turn over additional withheld classified documents. At least one of Trump’s lawyers reportedly signs a written statement that inaccurately asserts that Trump has returned to the government all classified material at the resort.

June–July 2022: Federal investigators subpoena surveillance camera footage from Mar-a-Lago’s security cameras and receive information from at least one witness that more classified material may still be at the former president’s residence.

August 8, 2022: The FBI executes the search warrant to retrieve any remaining government documents from Mar-a-Lago. This warrant is based on: 1) the existence of probable cause that a crime has been committed and 2) a strong reason to believe that material evidence is likely to be on the premises. The FBI removes several boxes of classified documents from the resort, again after multiple previous attempts to convince Trump to voluntarily return all presidential records and documents in his possession.

How much should Donald Trump be fined for his late library book??

Well, he didn't actually check out the book from the library.

He went in and stole the book.

It was a very important book. It was the Book of Secrets. It was the most important book in America's library.

It gave Americans directions on how to protect themselves in a world that is sometimes violent and with enemies that want to kill you. So it is with the rules of nations. It was written to secure this nation so that our people could live as free as possible.

But Trump stole these secrets. Now his lawyers are asking how much he should be fined?

Asha Rangappa made an interesting comment a couple of days ago.

Joe Biden's speech tonight caused me to recall it.

She was on one of the political shows and they were discussing autocracies and how they take root, etc. She commented that the best way to defeat them was usually with "coalitions".

I think that may have been the direction that Joe Biden was going tonight? The Democrats, Independents, and "mainstream" Republicans need to form a "coalition" in order to save our democracy.

But, is it possible?

Our democracy is under threat and so are we all.

Donald J Trump v United States of America

Did anyone see Lawrence tonight?

It was a very thought-provoking beginning to the show.

Maybe it should have read Federalist Society v United States of America?

Lawrence was critical of the Judge for stating that she was inclined to give Mr Trump his request for the Special Master. He pointed out her relationship with the Federalist Society.

Also, he and his guests, pointed out that no one in America would get the "special" treatment that Donald Trump is getting.

Neil Katyal, one of his guests, did not believe it would have much effect on the investigation.

Just the name of the case was enough to get anyone's attention.
