(6,796 posts)Ms. Harris. Senator Feinstein always supported Biden. Stupid and misleading headline.

(2,536 posts)That was written by Feinstein and shuffled through Congress by Biden. Guess that makes them colleagues, too. Kamala knows this.

(58,785 posts)Public figures can wish many candidates well but traditionally only officially endorse one, and Sen. Feinstein made it clear from the beginning who that'd be.

(58,785 posts)That's CNN before Joe announced. This is an example of HONEST JOURNALISM, Celerity. .
Please note the difference. Sophisticated readers recognize articles that are vehicles for delivering smears for what they are.
I always ask myself, what is intended here?

(43,357 posts)It is a slanted take from Bloomberg, no issues with calling it that.

(58,785 posts)of course. Sometimes the poison is hidden inside for victims who need to be drawn in more subtly; but since most people don't open the articles, the biggest toxic spread is via the headlines.

I don't know. I think Biden and Harris are doing a little dance. I see a Biden/Harris ticket. Good cop/bad cop. With Harris as a left wing version of Cheney.

(7,447 posts)there's no rule that says you can't say...this is the headline, I don't condone the message...
Or simply don't quote the highly misleading headline in the header at all.
No rule says you have to do that.
That was a choice.

(10,828 posts)Not you, left-of-center, but the article itself (the subhead is there with the word 'snub').
Choosing is not synonymous to snubbing. A snub indicates a purposeful disdain. Making a choice is simply selecting to support one candidate over another, a preference.
I think the subhead is there to be provocative. It fails.
Feinstein had announced her preference before Biden had even declared. She didn't snub Kamala Harris; she merely preferred Joe Biden for the reasons stated.

(8,144 posts)to use the headline as your subject line. Why not so and so calls Feinsteins Biden Fundraiser a Kamala snub? You can decide you want to alert us to the fundraiser or to the snub or to the fact that the news source is stirring S.
In this case, it is clear the news source is stirring. Feinstein has made it clear from the get go that she is endorsing Biden. No snub. Feinstein and Biden have worked together more closely in the past than she has with Harris, Simple.

(8,144 posts)I have no idea. I am not the only person to object. This headline makes Feinstein out to be disloyal. At least take responsibility for running a biased article meant to stir things up, change your subject line, or add a caveat to the article.
What were you trying to say by putting the misleading title in your subject line was what I asked you to consider.
