None of these people would thank those who spread this hostile spin, and I don't either.

Public figures can wish many candidates well but traditionally only officially endorse one, and Sen. Feinstein made it clear from the beginning who that'd be.

22. Think the subhead in the article is deliberately off-putting
Thu Oct 3, 2019, 12:42 PM
Oct 2019

Not you, left-of-center, but the article itself (the subhead is there with the word 'snub').

Choosing is not synonymous to snubbing. A snub indicates a purposeful disdain. Making a choice is simply selecting to support one candidate over another, a preference.

I think the subhead is there to be provocative. It fails.

Feinstein had announced her preference before Biden had even declared. She didn't snub Kamala Harris; she merely preferred Joe Biden for the reasons stated.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Thu Oct 3, 2019, 02:08 PM

to use the headline as your subject line. Why not “so and so calls Feinstein’s Biden Fundraiser a Kamala snub?” You can decide you want to alert us to the fundraiser or to the snub or to the fact that the news source is stirring S.

In this case, it is clear the news source is stirring. Feinstein has made it clear from the get go that she is endorsing Biden. No snub. Feinstein and Biden have worked together more closely in the past than she has with Harris, Simple.

I have no idea. I am not the only person to object. This headline makes Feinstein out to be disloyal. At least take responsibility for running a biased article meant to stir things up, change your subject line, or add a caveat to the article.

What were you trying to say by putting the misleading title in your subject line was what I asked you to consider.
