I can only keep an eye on things sporadically because I'm currently substitute teaching and have to wait to check DU on my phone until the kids are at recess and lunch (and if I'm in a class where they are immersed in an project in which case I'm very discreet).
I don't know what I would've done yesterday without DU where I was able to see in real time how things were going.
Thank you again!

For Nunes, this is somehow evidence that Schiff wanted them. From this we can assume Nunes has given lots of money to Nigerian prince's etc...

he's claiming dems got caught trying to get naked photos of trump from russian pranksters.
Nunes is acting like none of the testimony yesterday occurred...repeating the lie that Zelensky didn't know about the hold on aid by time of the call of the 25th when we know that's a lie now!

(73,589 posts)circumstances, I'd be thinking about why Nunes is so focused on nude photos of Trump. I'm sure that in a staff meeting at the mental health clinic where I worked, we'd have had some great laughs about this. But I am past finding anything about Nunes funny. He is such a "cowpile."

(129,352 posts)I expect under Obama, they were riding Ukraine's ass and their corrupt prosecutors (and we know their previous President eventually fled to Russia - remember reading that in the news). So this was apparently some retribution once Drumpf got in and they were all taking advantage of it.

Listening to Holmes after Sondlands testimony really underscores how much more detail-oriented trained career American diplomats are than political appointees. I am sure there are exceptions. But people like Holmes, Bill Taylor, Marie Yovanovitch and others just seem to have dotted every I and crossed every T.

The lower level people who move up the chain learn to get all the detailed stuff compiled and are told to then "distill it down" to "Executive Summaries", and finally take those destined for the very highest levels - and distill them down to what they dub "1-pagers".
