Multiple Trump Witnesses Have Received Significant Financial Benefits From His Businesses, Campaign

(Pro Publica) Nine witnesses in the criminal cases against former President Donald Trump have received significant financial benefits, including large raises from his campaign, severance packages, new jobs, and a grant of shares and cash from Trump’s media company. The benefits have flowed from Trump’s businesses and campaign committees, according to a ProPublica analysis of public disclosures, court records and securities filings. These pay increases and other benefits often came at delicate moments in the legal proceedings against Trump. One aide who was given a plum position on the board of Trump’s social media company, for example, got the seat after he was subpoenaed but before he testified.

Trump Embarrasses Himself By Claiming Rising Seas Create Beachfront Property

(PoliticusUSA) Trump said: "The single biggest threat, not global warming, when they say that the seas will rise over the next 400 years, one eighth of an inch, you know, which means basically have a little more beachfront property." According to a 2022 NASA study, sea levels are projected to rise at least a foot over the next 20-30 years in the US. The rise will be even higher in Southeast and along the Gulf Coast. The country is not going to have more beachfront property. The country will have what is described as catastrophic flooding. Rising sea levels don’t create beachfront property, and the levels are going to rise much faster than Trump suggested.
