The black eye was quite impressive. It sure did go dark quickly but it all depends on the time elapsed from when she was punched to when it was photographed. I'm shocked she declined medical treatment.

I can see it happening but we don't know the whole story. I'm figuring some druggie who is carrying a bunch of emotional baggage. It's really unfortunate that it happened, both for the victim, and for the whole election. The tin-foil-hats will be really cranked up after this. I have no doubt some of them are waiting for the Democrat Party to march on their houses with pitchforks and torches.

offered as 'evidence' flooding the web at RW sites, appears to me to be make-up in that there's no associated swelling of the eye lids and such; no continuance of stressed vascular occurrence', or tissue or developing or developed subsurface contusion; with the 'B' not being carved or scraped but seemingly placed with what further appears a theatrical style pencil. Though perhaps more to the point: especially where even if scraped...by someone; a very small price to pay for a young woman that considers lying her saving grace via her own profile at Myspace.

This matter should be easily flushed out and in very short order by simply reviewing any security tape/footage (that exists from several angles round & about bank properties for just these sort of event sequence') which should have been impounded by police authorities by now. It is incumbent upon those authorities to now come forward, and most expeditiously, with any information they posses that would confirm or deny what is, at this point, a young McCain/Palin operative's malicious, heinous slander.
